I feel Dumber for watching this game.
I just wasted four hours of my day, while the rest of this day has been ruined by the Fallout, hangover and side effects of watching Bam-Bam manchild baBoone's amateur vainly ignorant attempts to manage and totally annihilate what should have been a Win for hopalong Happ.
If this keeps up I'm going to need a shrink for anger issues I never had before.
Imho- Happ should have pitched the 6th and probably the 7th inning. Happ is not normally a five-inning pitcher. Happ commonly IS a 6-7 inning SP.
imho- Boones mismanagement caused this Loss. This game was over the moment Cole took the mound; followed by more shit with Cessa and Konman-Kahnle.
Boner had many options, maybe he should have thrown Sonny Gray out there or Zach Britton, Betances or D-Rob. Attempts to give relievers a rest blew up in boners face...
A new statistic needs to be created for MLB, that is Mgrs should be (s/b) charged with losses like these, as well as the dipshitz of the bullpen.

Boone's decisions are terrible but this team also has a habit of doing nothing at the plate for huge portions of games. Score early and dead for 7-8 innings.

Exactly this offense can turn anemic in a heartbeat. I cannot recall a team that was so dependent on the long ball. Of course with attempts to hit the long ball comes record amounts of strikeouts. This team is not balanced offensively its long ball or bust.
It was a great interview with Billy Beane a week or two ago. He nailed it perfectly when he said, if my team hits more home runs than yours I will win 75% of the time. But the other 25% a team needs to be able to manufacture runs and play small ball. While both must be accompanied by good starting pitching and relief.
Like all things in life balance is essential for prosperity....

Oh that's right the game was not played in Anaheim otherwise San Andreas would have broke loose...
