Austin had a little sanchez in him on that wild pitch

...the ball was nowhere close to the target and almost hit the batter in the back foot...and Romine usually blocks pitches in the dirt MUCH better than Sanchez.

...don't think he could do anything but backhand it...like I said, it was about 3-4 feet from the target...he was lucky to even get a glove on it.

...to give you an idea of how much better Romine has been than Sanchez defensively, ...Sanchez has 9 passed balls this year, Romine has none.


...a lot of people were getting on Girardi last year for voicing his displeasure at Sanchez' defense...I can now see why he felt that way.
