I am not saying sanchez is a better catcher, far from it, just feel he could/should have done a better job blocking the ball...yankee announcers felt the same

...Al, again, there was no way he could get over that far enough and that quickly to "block" the ball...all he could do was try to dig it out of the dirt with his glove.

lol...I was laughing at him wailing at the ball...the guys in the BP were laughing too....he damn sure didn't get cheated on any of his swings. I think they said that was his very first plate appearance.

Betances lost all focus with his ridiculous at bat, swinging wildly for the fences......now, he cannot find
the strike zone. The guy is an enigma.....pitching more than one inning is a problem for him.
These relievers are coddled too much. It’s pitiful that they cannot pitch an inning to its
conclusion.

Loaisiga “LaSagna” helped these Yankees snap their disgraceful 3 game losing streak.
The kid showed moxie. Judge & Stanton gave them hits for runs......just enough.
Team still not hitting as a whole. But I will take this win & moves Yankees into sole
possession of first place.

Stanton 7 for his last 8 heating up. Great game by lasagna (ha ha lill has me calling the kid that now) don’t miss Hicks in the line up at all. Still hate that pitchers have to bat in these games and take a big everyday hitter (DH) out of lineup. Commiss needs to show some balls and rule that games played in NL parks the DH will be used.

Clint Frazier again has been optioned out to Scranton.

The Yankees brilliant moves never cease to amaze me. Frazier is a ball player so they send him down. Galloping Gallegos and Higashioka aren't worth a shit so they bring them up. Sanchez to DL but he hasn't done much so maybe he'll get straight. I'm waithing for actions to be taken about Shreve & Walker.

Catchers get the groin problems more than old men rising off the park bench.

...I think that Romine catching almost every day for the next month or so might actually help our staff...at least the younger ones.

...also been reading about Frazier having a beef with the situation...I know he's frustrated but he's not helping his case and may inadvertently be increasing the chance that he'll be traded.
