Colon has started nine games, has a 2-1 record, opposition is batting .212, his ERA is 2.82 and he is
40 years old. He has six no decisions; won vs. Toronto & Seattle; loss vs. Boston.

YANKEES WILL NEED TO BEAR DOWN AGAINST THIS GUY.

Tho' his combined ERA is 2.82, his Home ERA is 4.37 (1.59 on t/road).

Batter's swinging at 1st pitches are hitting .304, taking 1st pitch 1.81
Yanx have to be aggressive, but patient. Colon's given up 9 long balls over 51 IP, key will be when does he get the hook, how deep can he get into t/5th before major damage is done vs an offensive power house of which he's not faced this yr., imho. Tho' he's started 7 of 9 games, 2 in relief; Colon's weakness is Opponents B'Avg of .321 in the 5th Inning, 2.86 in 6th.

Get to him early/often, 5'11" 285lbs? That's alot of pork, hopefully it will be hot/humid and Bartolo melts like a bear shredding/pulling pork...

He is a porker for sure.

Texas is a not very good last place team, a sweep should be well within the realm of probability. Play .500 ball against contenders, beat the hell out of contenders with the end result being a Pennant for starters. Damn nice to have a lower three that can bop at the dish and play their positions well.

Prior to Tonight's Game The Yankees recalled RHP Giovanny Gallegos from Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Oh goody Galloping Gallegos.

Hope he can gallop and doesn't get bucked off...

Makes me wonder if this is a Test to see if Galloping Gallegos is worth t/roster space/spot, or- a decision to see what this Minor League Vet has or doesn't have. Test to keep, reject or trade. More than likely the latter two.

6 years in t/Minors, with a very small 018 sample size: 4 IP, 8 K's, 4 Hits, 2 BB's, a 6.75 ERA....Another D. Hale? a part of Trashman's round and round revolving door plan; to keep the Crapper Train rolling from S/W-B with B-list relievers. :smiley-hmm::smiley-hmm:

:rotfl:

Gardner -LF
Judge -RF
Stanton -DH
Gregorious -SS
Sanchez -C
Hicks -CF
Austin -1B
Walker -3B
Torres -2B

Mets showing interest in Joey Bats.....Losers.

Hotlanta was desperate, as are t/Mutts. Braves used him at 3rd base for 8 games, only 61 innings, DH'd 2 games with a stellar .143 B'Avg & 2 Hr's in 35 Ab's. Played but 4 CG's..... Loooozeerr~!

DD kept the ball in front of his body, perfect fundamental. Ball takes a bad hot hop deflects off chest, with a jugglers gloved back flip.

Sanchez launched his errant throw to Cf on the delayed steal - shit...

Tank- 23 pitches thru t/first inning; stranding 2...

Sanchez Broken Bat blooper to CF. DeShields diving catch falls short.

Hicks pop up foul out to 3rd.
Austin hround ball out to 3rd.

Walker drives an RBI down the left-field line, scoring Sanchez.

Torres 2 run Jack 418 ft to Left Field.

Gardner hits a grounder down the right-field line gets stuck under the pad.

It’s Gleyber Day......a 2 run HR. Yankees up 3-0 top of 2nd.

Now Tanaka stop pussyfooting with your pitches and just rare back and fire......if you can!

Yanx 3 - Rangers 0

My Lord what size is Judges feet. Judges feet have to be bigger than Stanton's, who is nicknamed Bigfoot??? :smiley-hmm: I'm going to be bald by the time I quit using this emoji...

Or by the time I figure out what the hell Tanks doing - Serving up a second deck 442ft bomb to Gallo...

Just as I thought, you cannot enjoy a lead you asshole......you give them one back in a blink of an eye!
