NOTES: originally Petit who was send down to make room for Whitley would not have been able to be called back up for at least 10 days. Being short an infielder it was rumored that once Whitley was sent back down after his planned one game outing that they would bring up either Pirela or Rhsnyder since we were short an infielder, BUT.......since there was an injury & a roster spot NEEDED to be filled the Yankees were allowed to bring Petit back up without waiting the 10 days. So it looks like Pirela & or Rhsnyder will STILL have to wait.
