Severino vs. Stanek

Lineups to follow...

Hope Seve does not get too cocky as he did in his last start against the Mets. Todd Frazier made short order
of Seve’s 5 inning stint, leaving Seve on the losing side of a 2-0 game. Focus is Seve’s goal.

Cashman traded for the”name” Miami outfielder; the team would have been better off with the more
versatile outfielder, Christian Yelich. Just my personal opinion.

Always liked Yelich after all my son's name is Christian.

See your 5 and raise you 10 on that one. I see Stanton akin to other Cashman "Prizes" . Big money, low performance, and stuck with it.

Want to see lasagna in a few more starts but if he pitches and looks anywhere like last night I will be hoping cashman changes his plans and keeps German and lasagna as the 4th and 5th starters for the rest of season and jettison gray out of here in a trade for hand to make a great bullpen already just ridiculous. Looks like a young Mariano Rivera. Oh friggin babyyy!!!

As John Lee Hooker once sang " let that boy boogie wooogie". I usually have a wait and see on how good a player will be, Two things about Loaisiga, pitched well, deserves another start. The coolest thing was his composure while getting out of a bases loaded jam. Real character builder.

I expected 2C more of Frazier, but that makes too much sense. If Stanton continues 2 flounder and remains a 25-Mil $$$ liability in the field, "take the shot"...

El Kraken makes a great throw from his knees to throw out Bauers at 2nd base......after the umpire called him safe.

Thanks to MLB network, blocked out the game in the Tampa Bay area and is showing "The Making of Mr. October" . Fuck MLB Network for that one.

I have noticed with runners on base and less than 2 outs that Yankee batters seldom
advance the runners. In other words, batters no longer are willing to sacrifice their
at bat to move the runners up a base. I would say that this is a MLB trend.

IF Hicks were as aggressive as the Mick or Rickey Henderson, Lou Brock or or or -
he would have scored on the passed deflected ball...

Torres picks up Bird.
Bird touches home plate, 4th time in 16 gms.

Judge sets bail with a stand-up double off the center-field wall. Rays center fielder plays like a goofball thank God. Then again as hard as Judge crushed it 109mph line drive rocket; not even Clark Kent could have got 2 that....

Between batters being selfish in order to inflate their numbers and the fact that the game we once knew has been bastardized by over-emphasizing the HR and hence making strikeouts acceptable, there's no longer justification most batters' mind, to do what's best for the team as a whole.

This Pitcher is as slow as Shit, Kay and O'Neill are getting Pissed.

Same shit...bases loaded, 2 out, 2 strikes and Andujar swings as hard as he can trying to hit a 5-run HR.

...note to selfish Yankee batters, sometimes a single will do just fine.

Pathetic display of baseball by the Yankees against a tram like Tampa. Two men get hits, Stanton & Sanchez fuck up wet dreams and fil, best Bird & Hicks can do is walk. Andujar can't get hits every time. End result 1 fucking run. Yankees should be up 4 or 5 to nothing.

Michael Kay must have after game plans. He is lambasting Rays’ pitcher, Yarborough,
for taking an excruciating long time between pitches. His annoyance takes away from
the game. Paul O’Neil is laughing at Kay’s impatience. What Kay should be annoyed at
is the missed opportunities by this team.

DD back to hitting line drives. Didi picks up Judge, Run #2.

Stanton grounds out to Third, fails to advance DD; on 2nd.
Sanchez continues to struggle, goes down swatting at thin air, like a conquistador waving his cape.

Bird walks, DD steals third in a close throw. I guess he figures no one's going to advance him without a long ball so he takes third; & that could have been the third out at third.
Hicks walks Bases Loaded.

Andujar goes down swinging. Andujar starts the count 0/2. Seems Andujar 2 often Works count 0-2, a bit impatient. An aggressive swinger pros and cons.

Bases Loaded nothing to show for it.

Prophetic...!!!
