I'd like to see the Yankees sweep this series but believe pitching could be a problem. Line may be on the Yankees tonight but going on 2018 performances I'd have to give Snell the pitching nod. German has been OK but in my book is still shaky. The clutch in the Yankees game transmission needs a bit of oil to get it unstuck.

Judging from Germans' last start he should try not to spot the opponent runs. Fortunately, we have an offense that can score home runs. I too, advocate a Sweep.

I’d love a sweep but I’d take 2 or 3 outta 4 and move on. Pitching is going to be a big issue. Cashman better be working those phones. We need AT LEAST one more pitcher who can step in and be a #2-3. Nothing less than that. Don’t need another retread or someone who can’t get through a minimum 6 innings. We have enough of those already.

Meanwhile our friends the Bostons draw the Mariners tonight. Don't know if the Mariners are that good or playing over their heads. It is somewhat comical that when Cano got busted they made adjustments and started playing better ball. And if Seattle makes the playoffs old Robbie Boy must sit. Seattle GM stated that when Cano gets beck he'll have to share playing time. Talk about being humbled!!!!!!!!!

Do not underestimate this Tampa Bay team. Their organization has one of top
farm systems which from top/ AAA to bottom/ A leagues puts emphasis on pitching.
Yankees need to play smart, but in the end it will all depend how well or poorly the pitching
will be.

Toe has moxy of a Veteran at 25 yrs young. .333 B'avg, draws his 2nd BB in his 64th AB. As small as he is, I expected more (BB's). A little dynamite can bring down a big stadium.
I Look forward to seeing Toe's 1st-HR of 2018... tho' hitting 4 avg is Toe's Charter.
