Boone need to do that more often. The guy in the runway can tell the fill in what to do. He really needs to get thrown out of one when judge gets shit on

Sure enough, 2nd inning and Gardy didn't like the called 3rd strike and smashed his bat in the dugout and Boone was ejected for jawing at the HP rookie ump. I believe the horrible call to Judge in the 1st also contributed to this outburst from Boone.
MLB just has to go with the automated strike zone to protect ALL batters from HP umps having a BAD day. Much more difficult to hit when batters are convinced they should swing at balls out of the zone when they're behind in the count because the ump has already demonstrated by the 2nd inning he calls strikes which were clearly balls.

Boner gets Tossed. :rotfl:

This is what I saw. One day MLB's gonna institute putting fingers in anothers face as a threatening jesture...
such is already the case in any other business...

Lead off double by Mr. Clutch wasted, Sanchez fails his team in the moment. Hope German can steady himself because if Boner has to burn his pen is game one the Yankees will be hosed in game two.

Sanchez struggling w/risp.
Agree on German, he could acquit himself very nicely if he can settle down with a few good innings.
I think this particular game vs a good 2nd place team after a rough first inning is a good true test for German.
Actually I believe this could be a big step in his maturing process.

It seems Judge gets screwed on low "strikes" more than anyone, this sh_t has got to stop.

Unacceptable! The parrot strikes out in a run producing situation. The batter has upper hand with
runners on second & third and nobody out....And Yankee batters succumb to Chirinos’ pitches.
Batters need to stay disciplined.

Darn it, Didi couldn't get the runner in from 3rd.
Atta boy Luke, big RBI single against the shift I luv it.

Yea, another big two out RBI from Gio.
Yanks quietly have 4 or 5 guys who hit well w/risp.
I know its July but that's the stuff that wins in the postseason.
Yanks lack of hitting w/risp has been their down fall since the Championship seasons including last year's ALDS vs Boston. They lost a close game vs Boston while scoring just ONE RUN after having loaded bases with one out, then loaded bases and no out in back to back innings.
One big hit in either inning and that series could've easily gone to 5 games.

This team has a couple of new clutch elements (so far)

Anyone watching on YES they have had Buck Showalter in the studio the last few games. Such a great knowledge of the game and solid explanations of different situations.

German did the job. Good news for him and Yanks.
He toughened up after giving up 2 runs in 1st inning with 5 shutout inn.
6 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 5 K, ERA now 3.38,
Well done Domingo! Well done
I think it's safe to say he's currently at least one of the most underrated SP in the league, maybe in all MLB.
