Another slow roller Headley can't handle.
I lost track at how many times he's fumbled a little squibbler.
At this point, he's become the worst Yankee 3bman I've ever seen at trying to bare-hand a bunt or swinging bunt and has to be near the top for all other 3b.....ugh

This guy has forgotten how to play 3b to the point where his OFFENSE is CLEARY his strong point....and he isn't exactly Mike Schmidt with the bat.

How many bare handed tries will be miss before he stops trying it?

McCann with his second homer of the game makes it 4-3 Yankees.

Crucial point - Holder in for CC gets a DP from Longoria.
Holy Jeez, now he balks in the tying run....wtf is going on here? Yankee kid reliever balks in a run....wait, now they reverse the call....yikes, I never saw this before.

...wow, never seen that before...over turning a balk call?

Knowing Sabathia was tonights starter did not give me good vibes. The offense needs to get out there tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holder has this quirk where he puts the glove to his face before he begins his delivery.
Then he takes it away.
The ump called that a balk....Girardi talks to them and they reverse the call. What's the ruling on this?
I guess the umps misinterpreted the rule. Unusual situation....never saw it before....I guess it had to happen on other occasions.

You would think if a pitcher has his glove to his face at the set position with runners on base and then removes it, it would be a balk. Not so.
Guess Holder knew what he was doing.
It DID look out of place, as if he did something "wrong"....
....I thought he simply made a lackadaisical miscue.

Six homers tonight but the Rays have four unfortunately.

Listen guys me and Ron did a little investigating on Rick. I gave him his phone number as I have talked to him a couple times in Florida. I had Ron call the number and it is not in service anymore. If any of you guys want to investigate any further we would appreciate it. Hopefully Rob can shed some light on the situation when he gets a chance.

...^^^I'll create a thread tomorrow with what little info I have. I probably need to do it via a PM because I don't wanna post his personal info on here for the whole cyber world to see.

Yeah I understand I think I've said enough. Thanks again Ron.

Called to supper, upon return I see low rent district Souza has two bombs. If anything keeps the Yankees out it will be the shaky pitching. Really pissed at Sabathia. Come on offense!

I hope John Philip Sousa doesn't march around the bases anymore.

I personally want to thank Lillie & Ron for their initiative about finding something about our friend,
Rick.

As for CC, showed usual cracks vs Rays........the gopher ball was too much to overcome. Hope the O
can overcome CC's shitting the bed performance.

It's very thoughtful and good of you...I'm also concerned about Rick and I hope he and his loved ones are okay.

Fourth hit for Kiermaier. This year he's become somewhat of a pain in the Yanks' ass....came into the game batting .273/.953 vs them.

He's now batting .370 vs the Yanks and .249 vs the rest of MLB.
I hate when that happens. lol

It's worth noting that the weekend sees the Yankees vs Tampa for three more, Baltimore heading to Detroit for three and Boston and Toronto meeting for three games. This could get really interesting if the Yankees keep winning.
