When Tanaka pitches I worry about the one "bad inning" or bombs with men on especially if the offense is not scoring like tonight. He looke like he was getting shaky in the 5th but then got the double play. The man stepped up huge for his team and he gets a "W" despite the anemic offense. Had to watch the game on the Rays Fox Channel and listen to those (yeeech) Tampa Bay Announcers.

Great pitching performance by Tanaka. Remember, he was supposed to pitch Sunday against the Mets, but the
rainout pushed him back to today. I just hope he can perform like tonight every 5th day. The jury is still out based
on past outings. As a whole, it’s a good foot forward. We have not seen too many complete games in Yankeeland.
