Becoming so obvious He cannot track the ball to pick it up as a catcher. He can't see the ball to hit it, and swings blindly.

Earlier in the year it was obvious he needed his eyes checked and tested, and was likely needs glasses, been saying it all year.
His interview earlier in the year, he said he has trouble picking up Severino's pitches because of the incredible breaking movement.

Unless this game turns around, best hope Oakland loses tonight. I have no faith in Biggie for tomorrow, if he gets behind Boner will sit on his ass until the game is out of reach. Yankees needed this game but thanks to poopr pitching by Tanaka, and the offense failure to strike at opportunity this one got away probably.

Doing a crossword puzzle today and it wanted a 9 letter word for feces. I typed in Robertson and it turned out correct. Good old Robertson Tampa Player of the game. They need to give this SOB the 23 skidoo in the off season.

I don't know how the rest of the board feels but I'm of the opinion Boner quit on his team today. He knew they came close to eating Robertsons lunch but Gardner saved his bacon. Robertson also had a bad prior outing and by putting him in there tonight with a 1 run lead he quit his team .

What a sloppy performance by this team. More overt mistakes that I have ever seen made by a
Yankee team. Blame falls on BaBoone for lack of team preparation.

There have been at least 24 of these type games where BaBoone’s pitching choice was not appropriate for
the game situation. Not one of these games was won. Bad decisions have also been made by this manager.

Imagine winning 100 games or more and your whole season hinges on a one game playoff. That plain sucks!
MLB needs to change the format. The more I think about it, it makes more sense to pick the top four winners
in each league and play the best of seven.

So, the berth should be judged by wins, not division. Then why have divisions ? Perhaps the best record is the better format. Group American league and National league without East West and so forth. It would be like a marathon race under this system.

If we're talking the best 4 teams in MLB, there would be no NL entry this year, the best 4 in MLB would an AL Feast, plenty fine with me; we'd not even have to compete with the National League, lmao, touche...

Unless your talking best 4 in t/AL-&-NL. as in 8 teams overall.

Even if it were best 4 in the AL vs best 4 in the NL, the AL would have homefield advantage in each series, if going by the better record.

Followed the game on ESPN Game cast which flaked in the 9th. Watched the recap Robertson and Tanaka were for sure the game duds. Though Judge said his team fought back, they last a game that they needed and Oakland is right back at the door. Stanton was absolutely dismal last night. a trend that has been in occurrence since the Miami Series. Not much of a champ Mr. NLMVP, big fish in Miami Pond elephant in the Club House Jeter palms him off on Cashman. Somewhere out there Jeter and Girardi are laughing their asses off at Boner & Cashman.
