Good info on Pablo/Hanley vs Eovaldi.
Be interesting to see how Eovaldi fairs vs Boston AND those two hitters.
This will be a nice early season test for our new #4 SP.

And if anyone utters the word RIVALRY regarding this series they should be ashamed of themselves.

Were getting the game here on the West Coast......fkn fantastic......

Did you say Riflery Rick........Yeah, I'd like to take a rifle to Trash-Man and The Kidz.....

Just no photo ops with ARoid and BigSloppy.....

OK. Why do we not have Didi in the lineup. Give the kid a chance to fail.

...I'm assuming it's because DiDi is so bad vs LHed pitching...but then again, how does the kid improve vs LHers if he's not allowed to face them?

BTW: I don't know who else has the pleasure of watching the game tonight here in NY. Its being broadcast on channel 11 (WPIX) which was the home of the Yankees from 1951 until 1998. And every now & then they're showing old clips of the fun in the booth between Phil Rizzuto, Bill White & Bobby Murcer. Damn how I miss those guys. You huckleberry.

Exactly, on one hand, the org. says how talented he is and then on the 4th game of season they start a journeyman over him. It's just idiotic.

Eovaldi doing his job keeping the Yankees in this game by giving up only 1 run through 4 BUT..........one excuse me hit by Gardner through 4 just isn't going to get it done.

Cashman can go f himself with this slop he has handed up. Headley friggin goddamn stinks. I don't understand the obsession with his piece of trash. Yeah lets sign him to a big money four year deal. Drew is garbage, Ryan is a bench player and we're watching some clown they picked up for some cash play second.

Who was saying that our infield defense would be MUCH better this year. Nice flub Petit on an easy grounder.

Okay 1st & 2nd with nobody out, lets see what happens.

Gardner with a force out, now 1st & 3rd with 1 out & A-Rod up.

RBI single by A-Rod. 1st & 2nd with one out up to Teixeira.

A walk to Teixeira, bases loaded with one out for McCann.

lol the sad thing is they're lucky Arod is in this lineup.

Headley is complete garbage. A Cashman gem right there.

Is it just me or is Gardner's bunt the hardest hit ball by a Yankee batter tonight?

This really is a terrible lineup. You have guys who just flat out can't hit and guys who are clearly on the downside. This crap takes me back to the late 80s. Might as well have Roberto Kelly and Gary Ward out there. Sprinkle in Bobby Meachem for the hell of it.

Unfortunately, you are so right.

Headley will generally suck but hit some big homers. Not sure that's worth four years and $50 million.
