and now they are in the 7th inning and still have
not been able to tack on some extra runs.......they
have done this throughout the year. This team
just does not have any 'killer instinct'.

If you want to be gone keep it up and you can be gone. When I continuously ask nicely for the nonsense to stop and it now reaches the point of just sheer disrespect there's not much else I can do. Yeah well I'm getting sick of all of them except Wilson/Betances/Miller. If the Astros win tonight it cuts it down to a 2.5 lead for HFA in the wildcard.

They're mostly minor league fodder except for the three you mentioned. Shreve had a period of being decent but he then went down the drain. Mitchell I feared this would happen to after what happened to him. He either gets over it or it ruins a career. It's as simple as that. All in all I've never seen a group of guys out of the pen continuously not able to get anyone out.

When you bring in the trash you have to deal with smell. There seems to be a hey the guy throws hard mindset with the pitcher talent evaluation. Well in 2015 everyone out of team's bullpens seems to throw hard. They have to have talent.

...and folks, the really bad thing is that with seemingly no apparent compass, the direction of this franchise will continue to be a random status quo, if that makes sense,

And that's exactly what happens when you continue to jam your roster with bad contracts. You end up having to wait them out. The Red Sox got lucky when the Dodgers took a ton of money of their hands. They then put themselves in a position where they're willing to take a bad year or two because they know to tear it down in order to build it back up. It's easier for them to do it now moving forward because they're not weighed down with bad deals. Going into next year you're still dealing with Arod's contract, CC's contract, Headley's contract and Gardner's contract.

after watching these last two horrid losses, I'd not be surprised if they lost the WC, or even win another game by years end.......
