Hey guys it's my Birthday do you think you can win a Game???

Well first of all happy birthday, I hope you get your wish. Line is on the Yankees today. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm going to watch.

Ok I just got home from Brunch and guzzled 3 Mimosas and now my Husband is not talking to me because he said I embarrassed him. Thank God my Mother is babysitting junior. I will have the Lineups in a few minutes. :biglaugh:

Happy Birthday lill!! Hope these idiots can get you a win today. After yesterday's loss new goal is number one wildcard seed

Get a gift that loads the bases and the offense fails to break open a bit of game.

getting the game via teletype morse code might be better than listening to these fkng homers on NESN ......
I am at a loss for words about this teams shabby offense.
...I'm not...been saying it for weeks, the Yanx have become "HR happy"...don't get me wrong, HRs have they place but this team is way too HR reliant...Judge is not producing them and DiDi and Sanchez appear to have some sort of "competition" for HRs...Headley's swing is a pure uppercut swing no matter where the pitch is located...and even Hicks appear to be gunning for the long ball.

...here's stat for y'all, the Yanx have won only 4 (yes FOUR) games all year in games which they did not hit a HR...let that sink in for a moment.

That's the way to do it though. Walk....hit....homer. Welcome back Holliday.

Note to NESN Broadcast Team: that Boston Marathon Bombing in '13 was no where even close to the disaster that Houston has just experienced so quit bring that up.

Michael I don't know how you can stand listening to those Idiots.

That's a wrap.........Happy Birthday to me.

This team has played itself into a position that they can't afford to lose a game. A few games back I'd posted a stat that the Yankees had 23 blown saves imagine where they'd be with half of those and improved offense. Too many times this season there have been games in which they have consistently failed to advance and score runners with some small ball instead of hitting 9 run bombs. Lot of good pieces on this team but the binging cords seems a bit short.

...and as I posted that, Holliday smokes a 3 run HR...lol...go figure.

^^^ there ya' have it, Headcase, Holliday's long balls, the diff in the game...

tho' he's been HR cold lately, when I left off, Cap'n America was getting his long balls, set his single season record, and is still swinging for the fences; as is everyone else.... or so it seems to me as well, ab after ab endlessly.....

as if that's the only way this team thinks they can win, going downtown....

Matt Holliday, some scratched their heads when the Yankees signed him but I found it a good hire at the time. The man has had ups & downs game wise but he sure was a damn good presence in the club house. Coming back fro the DL he smacks a 3 run bomb to give life to the offense and aiding in the win today. The man has been a winner everywhere he's been. I was hoping Judge would smack one as well but not to be. If this team could find the thread that makes it a cohesive unit we could see some interesting results.

Getting ready to watch the Blue Jays vs. Orioles on MLB Network and I can't believe I'm going to be rooting for Joey Bats & Co.
