Ok he was talking about raul the young baseball player..come on dontmlet your arod hatred cloud you on this

Sorry Al, hatred for A-Rod is an under fking statement. Of course A-Fraud would compare an outstanding young ball player to a fking felon like himself...

Vascularsurgeon, " not a lot to be excited about if you're a Red Sox fan" bbwwaaahhhaaa!!!

Geeezzzuuussss, here in SoCal t/game is being interrupted every freaking inning to tell us of LeBrons 4 yr 39 Mil$$ a yr Lakers contract. I don't care already...

^^^^^from your mouth to God’s ears.....out of sight, out of mind. Who cares about that overrated
doo-da. His contract alone should put Cashman into baseball’s Hall of Shame!

L heard a lot of Prices BS and whining how he'd never want to be a Yankee because of team policy on facial hair. Well Price guess what, you got quite a shave from the Yankees tonight. And as the Yankees have beaten your ass on a regular basis, Jeter just flat out owed you. Next time you pitch in Boston, the boo birds will be looking for you.

Game Recap-

no explanation required, a flat out rout by t/Yanx-
even the JV got to play (Drury/Walker)...

One thing of note, when will Boone let Betances close a game, in lieu of giving Chapman some warm up time, time to put 2 on; allow a shutout to be blown; in an otherwise rout. One day Chappedass is going to blow a big big game....

...Matts, I noticed that instead of bringing in Robertson/Betances/Chapman in to begin an inning, Boone instead decided to bring them all in during the middle of an inning which he did in the 7th, 8th, and 9th.

...I'm guessing this was intentional and maybe down the road, taking them out of their usual comfort zone of starting an inning might actually help the Yanx BP by giving those 3 relievers more times of coming in during high leverage situations in the middle of innings of crucial moments of games.

...just a guess though.

If someone enjoys maintaining a low profile Sonny Gray failed that operation with his game two performance. Been an awful lot of chatter and articles everywhere. To say Sonny has a lot of people on his ass is an understatement. Right now he's beyond the "Shape up or Ship Out" arena. He's more at the "can't hack it, pack it" stage. Were he doing well with decent stats the game could have been passed off as a stinker. But he has poor stats, a reputation for being timid, and it was a Red Sox Team that lit him up. The Yankees will probably try to get rid of him, but who would want him, that's the problem needing solved.

Don't know if pitching in NY is Gray's problem but there have been cases when a few pitchers simply didn't perform in NY as they had before...and/or left NY and pitched well elsewhere....would be surprised to see Sonny traded to an NL team.

Now that makes sense, something I didn't think about. Thank you for that different View of the situation. I've always said there's 360 degrees and angles to look at any point. I'm not always capable of seeing all 360, LOL...:tiphat:

OT- how was your okra and roma tomatoes yield this year??? Are those okra Vines still the size of your Popeye forearms??

Good question. There's got to be something hopefully in the NL needing some mediocre services...
I think Gray's days are numbered...

The Dive!

as unforgettable a play and moment in Yankee Lore and History as they come, ntm- "the flip"... Mr. RE2PECT himself... Lord I wish Derek were the Yanks GM, and minority owner. But some wan't ice water in hell too... (chuckle)-

Read the game threads from Sat and Sun. LMFAO.....from standing on the ledge to king of the mountain.

The emotional rollercoaster of fandom at it's finest.

...pretty much standard for any fan of any message board...not exactly a new concept.

...he was leading 9-0 and had thrown 99 pitches...why leave him in?
99 pitches...he was under no duress during the entire game. Teams baby pitchers and that gets them in trouble. We still ended up using Robertson, betances and Chapman..

...duress had nothing to do with it, like I said, it was probably by design...please explain what freaking advantage there was to keep Seve out there any longer?

...the BP wasn't under duress either and Betances, Robertson, and Chapman need to stay sharp too...it's not like they won't be available tonight if need be.

...and I don't know where you get this "babying pitchers" stuff from...these youngsters are throwing nearly 10 mph faster than pitchers were several years ago...hence all the TJ surgeries so you can't simply allow them to throw unlimited pitches. Sorry Al, but the game has changed and pitchers are simply not required or expected to finish the game which is why the BP is designed to pick up the slack. It's a very long season and we don't need Seve to we worn out come October.

...and aren't you the one who about a week ago, was questioning people for complaining after a WIN?...we fucking won 11-1 last night, why are you complaining?

There are certain times when you want your ace to kill the game, to put it the opponents head that i dominated you from start to end. With each pitching change you open the door that one of them may not have it going to the mound. You do NOT want to give Boston any hope that night.
Seve had complete control of the game.

There is a huge difference in pitching with runners on base vs none. There is a duress factor when looking at ones pitch count.

But hey if the manager thought that half way through the season he needed to being his best relievers in a 9 to 0 game with one out left in an inning to...teach them to come into a game..smh...yeah im complaining.

Next you will tell me a pitcher pitches the same whether the score is 11-0 or 2-1.

Sierra NV was one of my favorite micro-brews before I quit drinking. SN used to make one helluva Lager, with yeast on the bottom of the bottle, (reminiscent of original Anchor Steam)... As good as brew gets imo- Touche, drink several for me, or don't and say you did...it's the thought that counts...

What seaside are you at Stamp??? Ocean City, Md., by any chance
Wonderful always mis understood New Jersey. Seaside Heights. We have a vacation house here. Since Jan and I walk to the beach or bay I stay in shape or develop another muscle problem. I have been to Ocean City MD. Nice place. Loved Annapolis. I had been to many Ravens and O's games in BAL too.

...my God. You might want to research Seve's game logs for this year and check out his pitch count and innings pitched in each game. Here, I'll do it for you;

91 92 94 86 112 96 110 109 106 77 99 103 112 93 102 107 103 99

5.2 7.1 5.0 6.0 7.0 7.0 9.0 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0 7.0 8.0 5.0 8.0 5.2 7.0 6. 3

You act like this is something new. Again, Seve had thrown 99 pitches and the score was 9 to fucking nothing...THERE WAS NO REASON TO LEAVE SEVE IN THE GAME !

^^^biggest fonts allowed...figured maybe it would finally sink in...but I think at this point you're simply arguing just for the sake of arguing.

Or its just that i have a different opinion than you.
While a lot of people bitxh and moan on every little part of the game i bitxhed about one thing...my ace being taken out oh the horrible horrible opinion i have that a pitcher pitch until it looks like he is losing his control.
