C. Sabathia (8-12, 4.10)

vs.

D. Pomeranz (2-5, 4.60)

Lineups to follow...

If there is a God, pray for rain and cancel the game...........just not to hear RSPN laud their team. Ugh!

I'm hoping the law of averages will tip in Sabathias favor and help the Yankees o get a win.

Gardner -LF
Torreyes -3B
Sanchez -DH
Butler -1B
Gregorious -SS
McCann -C
Solano -2B
Williams -CF
Refsnyder -RF

Congrats to Solano on being called up, good to see Williams in the game, come on Yankees bust some butt this evening.

Too bad Yankees cannot get players on base when Gary Sanchez hits his bombs. It would make things
much easier in this bandbox; for that matter, anywhere!

Congratulations CC, two major fuckups in the same inning lets them right back into the game.

Yeah. It is amazing how Yabkee starters shit the bed before the fifth inning ends. Pathetic.
It's been their Achilles heel all year.

Congratulations again CC, your inability to handle the Red Sox is still duly noted.

Total humiliation.........at the hands of the Beantown team. I guess the frying pan was too hot
to handle for these Yankees.

3 games of 4 chocking up leads due to poor tip to tail pitching in conjunction with an offense that scored early not often.

...yeah, if nothing else, it's fun watching Sanchez settling in.

this is what you get with a young, green team. should be better when we can shed all the boat anchors and give the kids a chance to play without the prima donnas sitting on the bench. then bring in jeter and mo to inspire them regularly.

Well instead of the slow peeling of the band-aid at least we can't the hammer over the head.

...the offensive production we are getting from Headley, Gardener, and Tex all need to be improved. The other position player spots are fine. McCann is a good fit for Atlanta with Sanchise as his successor and Romine as the backup.

...sure Tex is retiring and anything they get next year will be an improvement but they need to find a way to jettison Gardner and Headley and replace them with either youngsters and/or FAs/trades.

...and adding another front end starter and middle relief as well as a closer would make me a happier camper.

I like the idea of maybe moving Castro to third if and when a second baseman is ready to come up. Then there's the outfield which certainly needs to be addressed.

^^^Mess, I had thought about the same thing and I also thought about moving DiDi 3B because of his strong arm and moving Castro back to his regular position at SS but then that would weaken the Yanx defensively so I trashed that idea.

...Red Sox pretty much wrapped up the division last night...4 games up with 12 to play.
