Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Chapman will be activated Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or otherwise.
As shitty as the Pen's been, it couldn't get any worse, so welcome back.

If I were the Mgr, I'd have Chapman in the Clubhouse Closet for a rehab assignment. In lieu of throwing in the Pen, he should be practicing with a door, yes with a door, practicing how to slam that door shut. Have someone else open the door for him, he already knows to well how to open the door of opportunity....

Don't shut the door....SLAM IT SHUT....!!!

Wah, Cleveland won their Division it's not fair. Divisions change over the years.

Major Division Winners with not the best regular season records.

1973 New York Mets 82-79 4 NL Teams had better records. Lost WS in 7'

1987 Minnesota Twins 85-77 3 AL Teams had better records Won World Series in 7

1997 Houston Astros 84-97 3 NL Teams had better records Eliminated 1st round

2000 New York Yankees 87-74 4 Al Teams had better records. Won World Series

2006 St Louis Cardinals 83-78 3 NL Teams had better records Won World Series

The 87 Twinkies remind me a lot of t/018 Yanx. Seems like if Viola and/or Blyleven weren't pitching the Team would disintegrate....

1987 W/L Twinkies Records
17-10 Viola
15-12 Blyleven
4-7 Smithson
4-9 Niekro
11-10 Straker
8-8 Riordan 33 Saves
3-1 Schatzeder (whadda name, Shatzeater, or shiteater)

BaBoone must play ‘ Enie meeny miny moe ‘ with lineup card every day!
He must close his eyes and pick the names for 1 - 9. To put Stanton in the
clean up slot with over 200 Ks is ludicrous......and maybe that’s what he’s
aiming for........a ludicrous lineup (in his mind) will be a winning lineup.
On an everyday basis, this guy is scary.

DB Doobie Bros
LF Little Feat

LL ??? Leonard Lizzy, lol

whadda about DT?? Double Trouble...?
My Friend .....you have a 66.33 % score. hahahaha LOS LOBOS-You could listen to 20 songs and be mesmerized quite like being enhanced and experiencing a Rolling Stones library.
When they are in concert they hardly ever play La Bamba. Check out "Georgia Slop and Shakin shaken shakes to start with. You Will Like!!!

I saw them in '78 at Hershey Park Pa. On my hit parade ELO was right up there with the Moodies !

Moodies an incredible Band.
They sounded just as good 40 years later imo, if not even better on Tour from 2006-2010, and again in 2015. Hayward, Lodge and Edge aged well, with a polished & smooth sound uniquely their own.
Influenced groups like Yes, ELO, Genesis and others.
As Classic a Band as they come...

^^^^....
Imo- Andujar deserves to hit Cleanup.
Now that I think of this, if I'm not mistaken (a subtle term 4 having a Sr. Moment)...I cannot recall Andujar ever beig inserted in the 4'Hole-???

My favorite bands growing up - The Beatles, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Styx, Aerosmith, - top 6.

There in no way I can list my favorite Top 10 or even 20 bands, utterly impossible 4 me 2do....
Besides I'd destroy this post and I'd miss the game attempting 2 do so....
:roflmao:
Plus I don't have enuff finger and toes 2do as much.
IF I still had our GSD Kennel perhaps then maybe, IF I could gat a dozen dogs use their toes, maybe....

We ought to start a post just for Muzak Guyzzzzzz & Gal...

I too, was a Beatle fanatic. Loved the Stones because no one sounded like them or had such satanical flavor. Paul Revere and the Raiders were cool for their time.

>>> SEPTEMBER 30 @ MSG, in NYC , Jan and I are going to a Billy Joel Concert!!!! We also saw Clapton and Winwood on the 3 Concert MSG shows in '09.

What are the beach boys and rolling stones wood??? LOL
No. They both had good songs but, to me, were acquired tastes. Like the WHO. I didn't appreciate them as much growing up as I did later in life.

I saw the Stones at the Big-A in 78, one helluva show.
Opening act Toots and the Maytails.
I got to shake Ronnie Woods hand after a Ry Cooder show at the Roxy 1977.
He was with Rondstadt, and no she would not let me hug her, let alone give her a kiss on the cheek.
Just as well, I'd of passed out had she oblidged. Passed out due to all my blood draining out of my brain into my other head...did I really say that ??? Doh-:hcp: :smiley-pat:

Linda was a walking, sitting Goddess in person, ISIS in the flesh, that's an understatement....:notworthy2::notworthy::smiley-bowdown::smiley-bowdown:

Geez I'm sitting at In-N-Out (hamburger place) - (not what dirty minds think)..
The Muzak playing: The Monkies Last Train 2 Clarksville. Wonder if they'll top the Monkies off with The Partridge Family, Bobby Sherman and The Grass Roots?? No love for Englebert Humperdink :sigh: :sigh:

Wrong- followed up with JB's Dr My Eyes.
On that note, I gotta get home...

"Clapton IS God"
So was SRV...

  • Somebody’s number will be up with these two pitchers. Which one caves?
  • Both pitchers did very well. Unfortunately, a Yankee mistake has them down by 1.
