Pretty much a fact that Joey Bats was the most hated player in the game. I've seen more than a few recent articles on the current fate of players who get up there in the twilight of their baseball years. When Baseball figures their time is up deals will be non-lucrative, sign to minor leagues, or worse no place in the system. Hate to see that happen to the good players but to people like Bautista I have no feelings. It's not like he'll be in the poor house if he hasn't squandered his earnings but we all know that happens.
