I don't effing believe my ears, CC is going to be put back out on the mound next week, it sounds.....

His injury is not going to help the Yanx, only if His and the Yanx luck is the size of Texas, not NY. Otherwise the Cortisone Shot he just got, is but a band aide, on a much bigger problem, of which I do believe His Career just may forever be over...........?

Sure, I'd love to see CC return to form, but I don't ever expect to see such ever again. I do think he's done, stick a fork in 'em.....even if he Moos, or is alive, He's done for........his Career, IMO over, yet he's the type who will try to hang on longer than he should. The next Bartolo Colon??? I hope not...........!

The Yanx Offense, or Runs scored by a 2 run bomb by A-Roid, a One Run bomb by McCann, (who is/was batting 11 for 17 off of Odorozzi)....

(imagine having a last name that begins with Odor.......:bgrin:, )

Bird then went Deeeeeeeeepppp, 2nd decker, that makes for all 4 runs,

while Severino has looked pretty damn good, giving up 7 Hits, 3 BB's, but only 1 Run........I love this kids demeanor, and determination, of which he reeks with self motivation to make the Big Club soon, for good......
Thanks Rob good to see he had another quality start. Now I have to listen to the radio until the TV comes back on...:breakdance:

I can't wait for him to come back.....lol

what, ???? Your already miss Rick.....? Let the Rick stories bust loose, he gets a kick out of them, when He returns.......

Because we all know, Rick esp, His presence lends a unique gifted Yankee Fan, the Stat King, Himself, adorns the Tiara he wears on his head, like the Burger King........:theking::theking::theking:

You said the lightning knocked the power out? What part of Fla are ya' in Lil'? I've enjoyed the hell out of Fla, ie, every major site and City in Fla. I came very close several times to moving to Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Titusville, and/or Saint Augustine, Stuart and Tampa/St. Pete.....

No just my dish went out. I'm in Sarasota.

Hey guys there is a video on TMZ of a guy with a 19 inch penis, I swear it's the size of one of my legs! Maybe one of you can post it in a new thread. It should be good for a few laughs and don't ask me to do it because I have no idea....lmao

It's probably the chicken fkr we had on the BSPN Boards, Ten yrs ago......

I forget his name, the guy Howard Stern and Co. hi-jacked His Bullshit (what was it, radio show, or I-Net Radio)........Tote or 59 or Rick could tell ya', others here may as well. Hell, If I knew his name, I'm hush, as I'd hate to see that ass (try) to do with this board, what he did to the BSPN one.

Lil', I'll PM ya', in a moment.......

i'm looking at it as motivation, keeps the yanks hungry going into PS thats all.

these are the things that blow the mind, games where yanks are up more then 5 he brings in the big guns in desperation... he brings in warren for the 9th cause he did well in the 8th? really, is that how it works?

The offense showed again that a lot of the time it lives by the long ball. That being said it was a good win to open the series and the Toronto loss made it a really good night.

Great job by Sevey, good things from that man this season, good to see Bird knock one. Only bad thing about his game was Longoria getting another bomb. Need to drop some inside magic on that guy, get tired of sportscasters talking about how he has burned the Yankees.

I know Vic. Now it's a must win tomorrow because on Sunday I'm not liking that Archer/Nova match up.

Baltimore & Toronto play each other 6 more times, could be interesting, those teams had some major issues earlier in the season especially Bautista & Adam Jones.

Joey Bats in a slump....No extra base hits in the last 6 games. Maybe my stink eye worked. lol

Mess, it kinda looks like Houston and Toronto also does alot of living with the long ball.
Toronto clearly has better consistent hitting - # 1 ba w/risp .292, Houston is 11th.(Yanks 6th)
Also - Toronto, Houston and Yanks have hit the most HRs from the 7th inn on but the thing which grabs your attention regarding those two "playoff" teams is their good pitching both SP and bullpen.
Toronto is 4th in the league in SP ERA and surprisingly 4th in bullpen ERA.
Houston is 3rd in SP ERA and 2nd in bullpen ERA.
Not too shabby and to be honest, on paper, it's a bit of a surprise the Yanks are merely 1/2 game behind Toronto - thankfully the games aren't played on paper.
However, Toronto and Houston have losing records on the road and in 1 run games.....Toronto is also .500 on grass- there is a chip in the armour..lol.

KC - obviously doesn't "rely" on the HR but unlike last year's WS team, this year they're a GOOD run scoring team # 4 in the league and 3rd in BA w/risp to go along with the best bullpen 2.36 ERA - tough team.

The potential is there for a very interesting playoffs. When you look at the AL I think anything could happen.

Yep- the Central is the only division secured as we still don't know how things will shake out with Yanks/Toronto, Houston, Texas and possibly another WC entry.

Having the home field is as good a place to start as any as Toronto and Houston aren't the "same" teams on the road as home.
Who knows? Can never tell who or what team rises to the occasion.

KC seems to be the most balanced consistent team in most of the components you want in post season play...bullpen, scoring, BA w/risp, winning at home AND on the road.
