Time to start some serious ass kicking now, the Jays drew the Futile Phillies no pinstripers grind down.

Hoping for a Jays letdown. Yes, Yankees need to rake.

I hope its on MLB Xtra Innings, ..........

Even tho' the TV Menu says the game is scheduled, never means its being transmitted.......

McCann's been taking a beating behind the plate, and even yesterday in the batters box (back foot).....one tough as nails Catcher, in the spirit of Munson.......

Beltran looks worse than a rookie with a glove, (tho' his bat can be critical at times, not a bad in the clutch performer prior to coming to the Yanx, while any ball hit to RF is an adventure, instead of a routine out......

and I'd rather see Judge play a week in RF, then make a decision, what to do with Carlos.....

CC pitching tonight? Just heard that he was involved in
an incident in Toronto..............first thought, the pressure
must be getting to him.

Just saw on MLB on line that Bryan Mitchell is tonight's
starting pitcher.

So, it's apparent CC got himself into a "little" trouble north
of the border. Like he needs anymore negatives following
him.

...^^^ the article about CC getting into shouting match with some guy at a club/bar...CC was showing his ass but luckily his cousin grabbed him and shoved him into a cab, or something like that.
...CC insisted the altercation was not the reason his start was pushed back...but did not elaborate on why it was pushed back.

That damn Canadian beer. It's like moonshine.

There have been board discussions about the status of CC and many feel he should be placed in the pen. With the success of Sevy, and a possible early return of Pineda this may be on the ticket. And with that lead gone the Yankees must think "team first" so who knows. Perhaps CC has Al Sharpton on speed dial if that were to happen. And yeah that Molsons Ale is some pretty potent stuff, tried it in Montreal back in the day.

...ever had a Moosehead?...I remember when I was in the bar biz, we had some sorta promotion with the distributor and they were pimpin' Moosehead beer...and they must have given us a 100 t-shirt s that said "Moosehead" on the front...and on the back it said "best head I ever had".

...needless to say, the shirt were very popular.

Remember the Brand, sounds like the shirts were really but I never drank it. When I was stationed in Massachusetts we made a run to Montreal over labor Day weekend. Went into the clubs and this Canadian Chick turned us on to Mollsons (good stuff) .

McCann with a three run shot makes it 3-0. Solid offensive season out of the catchers spot.

I'd say that 3 run shot qualifies as a good start.

Oh man hope Mitchell is ok. Took a shot to the face back to he mound. Bloodied and out of the game.

Looks like possible broken nose otherwise if "just" a gash forehead with no concussive complications is the best we can hope for.

Kid has a good arm- good stuff.

What a damn tough break for the kid. I too hope he'll be OK.
It would be an ex-Yankee to cause the damage......Eduardo Nunez.

Scary stuff whenever that happens. You just hope it was away from the eye.

It's anybody's guess at this point but him walking off under his own power without much help is a good sign. Am worried about an eye.
Teamwise- Yanks must take this game to open this big 10 game homestand for obvious reasons.
First things first- take this game!

:offtopic: Just an aside from this game (didn't know where to post).......
Drew Hutchinson who has 12-2 record and is 2-0 vs Yankees
this year............was sent down to Jays AAA franchise..... :smiley-puzzled:

It's a shame because pitching wise the Yankees have to now piece this game together. As I write that the Twins tie it at 3-3 with a two run homer.

Yanks going to need to put some points on the board tonight .....
Cotham may be asked to take one for the team and this Cotham fellow doesn't exactly have- imo- lol, sparkling "stuff".
This will/could be a fairly "big" win under the circumstances.
Don't let these basterds take this game. lol

4-3 Twins after a three run third. Need lots of runs tonight.

If you read Girardi's lips in the dugout after Mitchell got hit he said to Rothschild this screws everything up. It certainly does so hopefully they have a ten spot in them tonight.

Just a terrible send home. Haven't been too impressed with this third base coach all year.

Tex can't get the run in from third with one out as he pops out to left. Just not a good job.

Big two out hit by McCann drives in two. 5-4 Yankees and McCann has all five runs batted in.

Sorry to hear about Mitchell, the Yankees put Crauano on DFA to make roomfor Caleb, looks like 6 or 1/2 of the other thus far.
