Temps hit 95 degrees in the Bronx today. It is 93 forty minutes before game time. Wouldn’t it be ‘cool’
if the Yankee bats heated up like the temps so we can watch Yankee HRs flying out of the park. When it’s
this hot & humid the balls will be in orbit.....hoping for more Yankee HRs.

CC looks gased & it’s only the 2nd inning. He can’t put hitters away......even with 2 strikes on a batter. Looks like the hot weather has the better of CC.
 
The way this game is going, CC looks to be giving Yankees innings. One damn hit through
4 innings. Ouch!

As BoboSox defy gravity, Yankees have come down to earth. Their record in July 15-10; so far in August
16-12 counting tonight’s game. Yankee lineup begs for hits and they are coming up empty.

Another painful loss caused by the lack of offense. Pitching line was not that bad. Note to Bird: if had had been with this team since '15 and was so bad in '18 they had to have a Johnny Come Lately to hit in my place I'd be hanging my head in shame.
 
Disgraceful. To lose a series at home to the lowly ChiSox. Yankee farm system cannot inject adequate
help in the face of prolonged injuries. Even the regulars are slumping.....Gardner in August is batting
.198 and Stanton is swinging & missing.

The tease for first place is just that.....a pathetic tease!

Just read the River Avenue Blues Game Synopsis. They cut the Yankees no slack. The Chicago player who did all the plate damage (La Marre) I guess is the team dud. Cashman failure to get an outfielder who could perform on both sides of the sides of the game has hurt this team.

Between Engel & La-Night-Marre, Yanx HR's have to travel 440 feet...
