Lets hope its a major story for MLB Hot Stove this am.
Rumors are either 5 or 6 years but no financial details yet. DJ had all the leverage and used it. Good for him. At least he’s a clutch player.
Contract is for 6 years.

6 years 90 million is what I'm getting out of the skimpy reporting on Hot Stove. I guess more detail will be let out as he dday passes. Good for DJ quick fan favorite one hustling player a real Yankee.

I certainly hope this is true...if so, the Yanx have already made the best deal of the off season....VERY team and player friendly deal. I was thinking somewhere in the 5 year/$100 Mil range but this is even better.
Hearing this news I couldn't be happier...unless of course Cashman cons someone into taking Stanton off our hands...& I sure would like to sign another pitcher & catcher...and/or a SS.

60 at 90 Million $$ IS a steal for a player of LeMahieu's type and caliber.
I think DJ is too humble at times, and perhaps he would have landed more $$ elsewhere.
As DJ goes, so go the Yankees, or so it's been.
This gives him his dream of ending his career in Pinstripes, more than likely. Hopefully, DJ will bring home another Batting Crown or more, and more importantly Ring #28.
I would have gladly given him 5 yrs and 100 Million $$.
