Yay. If I want to see a movie, lack of company is not going to stop me. I go to the movies alone pretty regularly actually.

I've never gone to a movie by myself, but I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I want to go see this new Man of Steel movie, I know absolutely nothing about Superman, I just know it looks decent. My GF is tied up with her family this weekend and neither of my brothers wanna go. I want to see it before I go to one of my jobs on Tuesday because the kids there will ruin it completely and tell me everything. My friends already saw it.

I think I'm gonna brave the movies alone tonight or tomorrow.
 
I agree with thrilla. Nay for single people. Yay for married people. If you're married with kids you might go alone for quiet time. If you're single, I'm waiting for that Shit to come out on redbox.
 
Is it true that when you go to a movie or restaurant alone, everyone points and laughs at you?
 
Also, they might think I'm gay. And with all the paparazzi out and about nowadays, I must maintain my hot image with my fans.
 
hell yes why not. It's not like you can engage in a conversation with someone during a movie anyway.

I'm single and sometimes I will go to a movie by my self.

No, but you can feel them up. Also, you can engage in mutual subversion when you open your hidden candy bar as quietly as possible. Only the two of you know the secret.

You can always act like your saving both seats next to you when some hot chick walks by just offer up the seat.
 
I'll do it. I go to like one movie per year. I just hate going to movies personally but I'll watch bond movies.

I think doing things on your own like going to a movie/ casino or just out an about by yourself it can show maturity and that your comfortable being by yourself. It does not always mean your some sort of loner. It all depends if you know how to interact with people you don't know.

When I'm sitting there sharing my corn with 3 girlfriends, how do we know that you psycho loners aren't red-haired terrorists like the future doctor medical student in Colorado?
 
Why is it a problem? Serious. Will other people think you have no friends if you go somewhere alone? Who cares? Will you have no one to talk to during intermission? Call a friend on your cell or strike up a conversation with a stranger who is also by him/her self.
 
Heck ya go alone! I've gone out to eat and to movies many times by myself and I never thought twice about it. I had no idea it was considered somewhat questionable behavior. I don't want to miss out on anything just because no one else is available... but then again I am an only child and am fantastic at entertaining myself. It doesn't bother me at all!
 
yay! and with a pocket full of tokens--those booths are usually to small for more than one person(usually)....
 
I haven't done it in a while, bu hell ya, sounds perfect, I think I'll do it soon. First, I'll go out to a great dinner (in Portland right now 80 restaurants have special 3 course meals for 29 bucks) then after th meal, a fun movie. Followed of course by a powerful round of masterbation.
