Yi Jianlian was all over Chinese television Tuesday, first as China’s Olympians were honored at the Great Hall of the People, then in a new program aimed at helping young earthquake victims. Meanwhile, Nike has designed a new sneaker for its big Chinese client. The “Nike Hyperdunk Yi Jianlian New Jersey Nets PE” will feature his uniform number, personal logo in the Nets’ colors.
