Yi Jianlian should play Wednesday. He has been out since Nov. 2 while recovering from a sprained knee. He was a starter when he got hurt and he may reclaim that position.

"Obviously, he hasn't played in six, seven weeks, so it takes more than one or two practices to be ready," Kiki Vandeweghe told the New York Daily News. "But I know he wants to play very badly. I have no problem with him starting or coming off the bench. It's a judgment on how ready he is and how he looks and matchups."

The fact that this has a legitimate possibility of happening explains why the Nets suck so colossally.
