On the other hand we should be enthusiastic about last night's game...because it was fun. Nothing wrong with getting excited when we have the chance. But on those nights that we suck, and there will be a lot of them........just fucking chill and not start talking about who needs to be cut immediately, or whose advanced stats are pathetic when they only played 3 minutes at the end of a blow out. Many of these guys need time to develop.

Personally I think most of us have the right expectations going into this year, but I am sure there will still be a few crazies who will make it unbearable to come to the board after a bad loss. And to those few......try to be smarter. It is a long season.

This doesn't really make sense.. not from what I know of this board. The ones who will have a meltdown later are the ones who are still having meltdowns now. The people who are optimistic aren't going to be the ones saying, TRAD HIM TRADE HIM. The optimistic ones ARE the ones who see long term and know it will take time and wont be so quick to say trade him after a bad night or week.

The end result is HCP likes to piss in the positivity pot... much like Tlong, MM and Marusol. Some people prefer to live in a world where the glass is half empty is all.
Hard to believe HCP is employed by the Blazers, but can continually be so down and negative on all the new guys.
I just don't get it...unless HCP is a glass half empty kinda guy.
Either way, When the time comes, I will be watching to see if he mans up and admits his wrongs when we are 30+ wins with 20 games left.

My prediction has been that the rollercoaster ends us at between 33 and 35 wins. Right now, I'm feeling good, so I'll go with 35.
