I figured I'd download the game and give it a watch after reading all of the gushing about what it might mean for the regular season.

So far I'd say they look like they'll be fun to watch, but projecting any of this to an 82 games season? C'mon folks, be better than that.

had the Warriors played their scrubs, I'd agree but they played the championship roster big minutes and we outright beat them..how can that not be fun?

Good question...... I want to say I won a bet last year with MAGS because I said 50-54 wins. Don't remember exactly though.

I don't remember trashing this team about the fan fest. I wouldn't hold a glorified scrimmage as a way to critique the team.

Nik, you know me. When people were on here saying we were heading to the finals, I was telling people to be realistic...... When people came on here and were shitting on our guys for only winning by 7 instead of 27, I called them out and told them a W is a W. I keep it real either way and these guys are blasting me for claiming we don't have much talent and won't make the playoffs.
Curious why I'm getting drilled for calling it like myself and majority of the "experts" are saying.
 
The residual butthurt from Monsieur Batum leaving, is evidently still lingering, and is super transparent.

I for one am really enjoying the refreshing change in style of play.
All guys are hustling, playing energised defense, the offense is stagnating less and we have a deep roster.

I'd much rather watch this group work hard on the court (towards improvement), than last years group just coast to mediocrity.

This group has Pride in it's craft.

We are a much more talented team than last year 1-15. Don't listen to the "experts,". NONE of them picked us to even make playoffs at the start of the 2013-14 season, and we ended up making it to the 2nd round. Most experts will say "oh they lost 4 starters so they'll be worst in West" without paying attention to all the talent we have on our team now. And they will be wrong. Think 2013-14 Suns but better. That Suns team was predicted to finish dead last by everyone and they ended up nearly making the playoffs.

Because most of your arguments are against strawmen.

Nothing wrong with some people here being excited for a few of our young guys. Nearly all the posters here expect a losing season. We're all fans and some want to think about the fun storylines with it and hope for an exciting style of basketball.

I say celebrate every damn preseason win we get because we ain't gonna be celebrating a 'chip.

You're "getting drilled" because you keep trying to tell people how to think and acting like you're somehow a better fan than people who are optimistic about this season.
 
I think they're worth a playoff spot. Some of the players we let go like Rolo or Batum I would have liked to keep but both these players also weren't supposed to be that good when they came here.
I like our big-men rotation, would like it even more when Alexander is healthy, I like that we have a deep rotation of talented players and that Stotts can feel more free with his substitutions unlike last year when players played more than they deserved because they had all-star status.
I think we are very talented in the back-court as well. Dame, CJ, Frazier, Crabbe, are very good players to have on the court, most of them aren't the Lemarcus type who get minutes becasue they put up big numbers but the type that puts up good numbers in the plus-minus category. The Knicks beat the Wizards with Rolo getting like 7 and 3 but with the highest plus-minus on the team. I always liked Rolo better than Lamarcus and always will.
I think this team has maybe more Indians and less Chiefs which to me is what makes a good Team. I think we're gonna outplay the early projections and could even make the playoffs, I don't play for the lottery and I don't care for any team that does. I like this team and expect at least a fun season with happier basketball. Looking forward to it
