Not pullin any punches here, tie it up late to lose early in OT is so typical rangers you could have bet the farm that was going to happen! this is not the sky is falling thread, this is fact. Rangers have not played that great! if not for lundy this series could go either way.. even if the rangers do get passed the priceless habs, a team with a staal & girardi gettin all the minutes ain't beaten a western team........

Hopefully your intuition is as on point for this series as it was in the Pitt series Pasta.
 
I think it is too. They play better in game 7s and on the road anyway.
 
This is NOT going 7. Rangers in 6. That was always the best bet in this series IMO. And we don't want 7 in this series for many reasons, first of which winning a game 7 in Montreal on a Saturday night would be very difficult. No interest in that. Plus they would have won 3 of 4 if we get to 7, so they would have the MO.

We 100% win game 4. And I standby Rangers in 6.
 
Well then they better start solving the Tokarski riddle again on Sunday. Hitting the net would be a good start. But if it has a Chuckssier 1 million % guarantee i guess i shouldn't be concerned. :)
 
Me neither. After chuck game 4 guarantee I stocked up with my creme de cacao. LOL. Only way this can go 7 is if rangers lose sunday and I just can't see that happening. I think we win in either 5 or 6.

Mel, you know I am really good when I give you a guarantee. Mark it down...RANGERS WIN GAME 4. I predicted Rangers in 6 prior to the series and I am staying with Rangers in 6 now.

Now to be clear, I am not guaranteeing the series or the Rangers winning in 6, that is my prediction. I AM guranteeing we win game 4. That is the lock from me. WE WIN GAME 4.

And if I walk out of that building tomorrow night after an L I will be shocked and come eat crow on this board. I just don't see it happening though.
 
I see it Chuck because this team makes nothing easy. Especially with a rookie in net. But I too think they win tomorrow. 4-0 Hank gets a shutout

Chuck, I love your guarantees. Already have my Creme de cacao on the counter ready for the game. Although I will admit I hope your wrong about 6 and would like this to be over in 5.

I hate to be negative here, but I think we might be done. After such a horrible loss it is hard to recover. I am not sure anymore about this team. It has a making of a great collapse.
 
You don't hate to be negative. Most of this board is negative, so you fit right in 09. If you went the other way you would standout.

Up 3-2 in the ECF going home with a chance to clinch, and the line is I think we might be done. LOVE IT!!!
 
The team played a horrible game and yet were still in it, which speaks volumes about MTL. I fully expect this team to come out Thursday and end this at home. Stop with the panicking BS people it gets obnoxious after a full year of hockey, this team has been written off in every series and yet is in the ECF up 3-2. This team will come out much better in game 6 that much is certain, AV is not torts and will make the adjustments that are needed.
 
The Rangers know that if they drop game six at home it's going to be very difficult for them to win a game seven in Montreal. It's time to end this thing.
 
I would've signed up in an instant for a 3-2 lead in this series. I thought going in they'd have to win the last two.

I said Rangers in six to start the series so it's pretty much where I thought it should be.
