Oh, also, my niece who lives in Washington made me a rubber band bracelet last year, and made it all red and black because she KNEW I would want Blazers colors.

The first day I wore it was for the Miami game last year that basically ended our hot start. I wouldn't touch it after that.

Now superstition is a whole other topic.

But for example due to multiple incidents of bad luck I will NOT wear Blazers gear or even their colors on game day and it kills me to not wear it. I wont even wear the opposing teams colors on game day.

There are a few "superstitions" I have:

I don't DVR games, unless they are from the opposing broadcast. Anytime I record Blazer Broadcast, they lose.

I don't bet on any games because they lose

I make sure I am extra nice to people that day because it brings good luck

I never like going to games because they lose most the time

If I don't rub my old brandon Roy Jersey we don't win. I forgot to rub the jersey for game 3 of the Rockets game in the playoffs... We lost.

This may be the most impressive. 2004-6 was like a sabbatical for me. Khryapa, Monia, Telfair . . . I mean, at times we were running plays for Juan Dixon. Ugh. I'm not a fan of the "tank" strategy, but I was hoping we'd lose every night back then because the only way back to respectability was by majorly upgrading the talent on the roster. If you sat through those years cheering on those Blazer teams, I tip my cap to you sir!
