Notice YOU owe CJ an Apology

This playoffs has made me change my mind on CJ absolutely needed to be traded in order to win the championship. Of course, if an offer comes up that’s to good involving him than you have to consider it, but CJ can be the man if dame is just a little off. And I’m sorry CJ for being an idiot and happily will eat my crow
I am eatin my crow as well with a big smile on my face, CJ was da bomb!

I'm not sure what you are saying, but we could see today how CJ's game complements Dame's game.
One thing I admire about these guy is, after their disappointments the last 3-4 seasons, they actually kept working on their games.
CJ can score in so many different ways ... It is ridiculous he is not an All star. And he displayed his full arsenal today.
I have always love CJ's game. But I have questioned his shot selection and the ability of the coach to make him understand that he needs to take better shots. Which he did today.
9 rebounds, 29 shots ( 37 points ), only 3 3-pts shots. And only 2 free throws.
That's an amazing performance. And even the shots he missed ... would fall on another day.
I love this version of CJ. Unstoppable.
I said it in the game thread and I'll repeat it here: I've never been a big fan of CJ and would have traded him for Paul George or Kawhi...still would; but you have to consider that Dame wants CJ as a teammate and the two of them have probably earned the right to try and take the team as far as it can go. It's up to management to give them the supporting cast they need, and it's up to that management not to allow major slippage because of the tax situation and the free agent circumstances

Holy shite! I had to DVR the game due to son's soccer game - just finished watching it. How the hell did we win that game after that 1st quarter???

Anyone that's bashed CJ should come in here and post an apology.

And Evan Turner, this game alone has made your 3 year stay here worthwhile.

So much balls all of these guys have. Collins growing up before our eyes!

Amazing...
I've always had faith in Turner.

Not his first good game - and won't be his last. His next bad game won't be the first (or last) either.

Sorry, but this thread is kinda silly.

I think PG or Kawhi are fair discussions (if those guys aren't rentals). You're talking first-team all-NBA talents.

What grinds my gears is the guys that undervalue scoring and shot-creation. Or fans who talk about CJ for Middleton or some other above-average but otherwise not-special 3 man. Or the ones that paradoxically talk about how his trade value is going to bring us an upgrade while simultaneously busting on his D and his efficiency.

The facts are that shot creators aren't easy to find. Guys who are cool under pressure aren't easy to find. And guys who fit your team aren't easy to find.

If you trade CJ, you need to be sure you are bringing a special player back. Not Kike Vandeweghe.

There were times when we struggled over the past couple years that i was on the trade CJ bandwagon. I realise now that those impulses were short sighted and flat out wrong. It would have been impossible to get equal value in return for him then or now. I'm glad that the people making these decisions for us don't listen to the bitching and moaning of fans who don't look at things long term and big picture.

I still think CJ is overrated and overpaid, but man, did he play in the Denver series??? He showed up big time, when needed.

Are we to forget Evan "Turnover" too, since he had an ok Game 6 and a solid Game 7?

Take me for example, I'm only 39 and I look like I'm over 70.

apparently you are also dyslexic as something seems to be backwards, lol. Just joking lanny. Great win yesterday.

Is it just me, or has cj been much better st getting to the rim lately? That could open his mid range game

Yeah he has done a really good job of taking advantage of the opposing team center's weakness. Both Adams and Jokic are huge, but neither is what I would consider great rim protectors. CJ is so deceptive with his change of speed. Loved seeing him dunk last night on the one drive in traffic.

I'd say it's probably the result of game film and I honestly think CJ is taller now than when we drafted him...he's clearly taller than Dame side by side now and they used to be really close in height.

This is why I kept saying you don't trade CJ for anything less than a bonafide star. There were people here who wanted to trade CJ for capspace-- you all know who you are.

In the playoffs, you need guys who can get shots one on one. CJ can get a good look on anybody. Teams can take out Dame with double teams and size, but having CJ there is an unbelievable luxury.

CJ's getting bigger by the game.

CJ is my 4 year old grandson's favorite player so that's good enough for me. He also knows all the players names and their numbers. Can't wait for when he is old enough to start playing as his dad is a pretty good player and his grandpa could hold his own in his day, lol.

There were people who wanted to trade him for Butler.

I don’t listen to those people.

CJ showed me some stuff yesterday that I hadn't seen before. That ferocious drive and dunk really caught me by surprise. The fact that he did everything he did while taking just three shots from 3 really impressed me as well.

He had that interview a couple weeks ago where he said he was a killer, and had always been a killer. Some scoffed at that at the time; I think he's proven that sentiment correct.

Butler has been really good in the playoffs too. I'm coming around to Jimmy again. He might be an asshole, but he's a gamer-- he'd be amazing in an environment with good chemistry.
