is this how you get your jollies?Dear Meyers,
I'm sorry you've had a career PER of 12.3.
Thank you for playing well against a Warriors team that is coasting tonight.
With any luck you can teach Zach Collins to be average in his 7th season as well.
He's the new Vanilla Gorilla.

Strenuus, I couldn't disagree with you more! You watch a 1st half in which Meyers scored 5 of 6 swish3s (that is 83.3%!) that is the leading scoring of all players in the game and do not recognize what he has accomplished. Instead of talking about other players who may score 45%+ swish3s that we might add to the team, I would emphasize that Meyers has scored 75%+ swish3s now and previously in the Playoffs, and deserves to be recognized. His 10 of 13 swish3s still stands as the NBA record for at least 10 scored swish3s in the Playoffs! Thanks for making it easier to trade you, Meyers!
I'm not sure, let me check.is this how you get your jollies?

Agreed.People saying it's about time Meyers showed up, conveniently ignore that he's been very efficient the past two years. He just hardly ever gets in the game and is only used as a safety valve. This was the first time I can remember since the Memphis series that he was used as a primary weapon.
The problem with Meyers is his defense and rebounding. Offensively, he is really good, and when he is confident, he's downright scary. But between his shaky mindset and poor defense, he can get lost in the shuffle. Terry is clueless at times though. What he has done to Layman is yet another double standard.People saying it's about time Meyers showed up, conveniently ignore that he's been very efficient the past two years. Once again, Meyers plays his best basketball in the playoffs. Most teams would die for a player of that description, yet Portland fans can't wait to run him out of town. It must be the black athlete hatred in Oregon that Sheed and Rider were talking about...
I came into this thread only for this topic. He is tradable now

i cannot believe that for someone that shined throughout the regular season and a factor in our success during that time, was never played in the playoffs. that just dumbfounds me. him and Turner were great together. What he has done to Layman is yet another double standard.
