Reserve Kevin Young recorded a double-double as the Santa Cruz Warriors’ defense suffocated the Austin Spurs 87-84 in the teams’ NBA G League game at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Texas on Thursday night.
Young, a 6-foot-8 forward out of Kansas, finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench. His dunk on a pass from two-way guard Damion Lee with 3:22 left gave Santa Cruz the lead for good, 82-80.
