(*) TERIYAKI SAUCE INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup tamari , can substitute low sodium soy sauce. Note: tamari has more flavor than soy sauce and significantly less sodium.
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger ,minced
1 teaspoon garlic ,minced
1 tablespoon honey (Vegans: use agave nectar or sweetener of choice)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons mirin (see note)
1/4 cup water mixed with 3 teaspoons cornstarch

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Store in the fridge for up to a week. Makes about 1 1/4 cups teriyaki sauce.

NOTE:
Mirin is a sweet Japanese rice wine, similar to sake but with a lower alcohol content and higher sugar content. If you don't have mirin, you can use sherry with a pinch of sugar added to it.

There is a In N’ Out and a Hops & Drops going in at Tanasbourne Town Center. That’s really going to fuck things up!

Nah In N Out pulled out. They will not be at Tanasbourne.
Not what I heard. I heard that In N’Out Burger will be going in wear Barnes & Noble used to be. Hops & Drops Will be going in by the Chase building.

Could be. I heard they abandoned the Tanasbourne project though. I could be wrong.

Shake Shack’s better anyways
They have to be be. In-N-Out is garbage. Not a single person in my household likes anything we've bought there. It's like getting food from A&W (another chain who's food went to shit), with a longer wait. But at least A&W has good root beer.

Mike's is far better, every burger in Portland is better than In-N-Out.

Denny's Double Bacon Cheeseburger is about as good as a burger gets.

Your last

This last line pretty much invalidates the rest of your post here ... Dennys is garbage and there is no way around that.

Then you haven't tried their double bacon cheeseburger.

Everything at Dennys is about 100x better than anything at In-N-Out. Granted, it's not fast food, but still.

You can keep typing words but it doesn't change the fact that Dennys is trash. I haven't eaten there in over a decade because they lost the opportunity to get my $$$ based on the fact that their food sucks. Their breakfast might be passable if you go to the right one but the rest of that place is worthless.

There are only a couple of Denny's left in Tennessee. That said, Waffle House is fun.

Got it, so you don't know. Thanks for the clarification.

Question: What's your favorite breakfast?
My wife makes the best eggs, hash browns and sausage with texas toast.

But as far as restaurants/chains go, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs... The best used to be at Truckstops of America, but a lot of those restaurants closed down over covid-19 and I haven't tried them since then. Dennys chicken fried steak and eggs is okay.

Otherwise, Don Chicos makes AWESOME breakfast burritos.

I’m sure it’s a very mehhhh burger like just about all the other mass produced burger joints. I drive by and the parking lot always looks about 1/4 full, that tells me all I need to know. Speaking of mehhh burgers, had Fuddruckers last night. All these places that slap a frozen patty on the grill can go away for all I care. There is something about the freezing of burgers that renders them with really weird taste.
