Easily my favorite fast food burger. Almost like patty melt. I prefer the Beaverton location over the downtown one. Best one I’ve ate at is on the strip in Vegas

The bun is amazing. Agreed that the best one I've had is on the strip in Vegas. Wanna try the Bridgeport location eventually.

Burgers are always delicious, especially for an A&W.

The building is that classic A&W with the menu boards you order in your car from, carhops that bring the food to you, and the metal trays that hang on your car window.

And the drive is always awesome.

10/10 will eat there every time I go by (which is about once a year, lol.)

The A&W in Stayton is the same way. Get yourself a Root Beer Freeze while you're at it. You won't be disappointed.

Holler! I can vouch for that! Also one of the few A&W’s not attached to a KFC.

My mom’s first job was the one on Lombard and she said she used to bring people food on roller skates. She told a story about a guy being rude to her and ‘accidentally’ dropping the order on his lap.

The Mike's drive in in Oregon City used to be an A&W. Roller skates and all. I wish they'd bring the roller skates back. It would be a cool bit of nostalgia.

Probably puts the establishment at risk of being sued though...

I remember that A&W, the one on McLoughlin in Oak Grove had skaters too.

I grabbed some on my way home from work for the fam and not bad. Pretty dang good

It’s good! The spice is too sweet but the chicken is better than Bae’s.

Lol. The A&W experience...
I'm about to make the trip to Sweet Home just to check this out. The A&W inside the KFC in Oregon City sucks donkey balls. Good root beer floats, but everything else (that I have tried) is garbage.
