They're great. And I normally don't even like onion rings.

The Coney Island at Nick's Coney Island.

The Coney Island at Nick's Coney Island.

Is that place good? I've been meaning to walk in there a couple times, but then right as I'm about to I say fuck it, I'm going to Por Que No instead.

Eastside Deli right by there has a money French Dip sammy if you're into those.

Nick's is a fun dive. Their coney dogs are great, and their TKO beer is decent. The crowd there is usually sports friendly. The donut bread pudding is good, and their burgers are good. Nothing's great, really, except their dogs.

For my part, the corn fritters at the Hawthorne Hophouse are my favorite novelty food. And pussy. I can't believe we've gone 10 posts without someone saying pussy.

I don't understand this thread topic........I'm married with kids.

+1 the rings with Chicken Fried Steak!! Can't wait to get back to PDX - this has me hungry!

Fan of Tad's Chicken & Dumplings too

Me too. Best fries in the world.

And that cup cake place a block away is pretty nice as well.

My other is Enchante, a french chocolate shop in downtown Milwaukie.

Sweet potato fries from Fire on the Mountain.

Oregano fry-bread from The Observatory.

Dirty Fries (pork scraps, marinated peppers, fried herbs and parmesan) from Lardo.

I also LOVE the Walla Walla onion rings at Burgerville. Sucks its so hard for me to get as I am sporadically in PDX. When I was living there I'd get them all the time.
