OT Your Last Meal

So, you're sentenced to death row and allowed anything to eat for your last meal, what would it be?

Appetizers:
Bloomin' Onions w/sauce (I know, I know....but I LOVE those things!)
Bacon-wrapped dates

Grilled Cowboy Ribeye steak - medium rare - topped with a tab of butter
Fresh blanched asparagus with butter
Fresh sautéed mushroom buttons
Fresh salad topped with grated cheddar, blue cheese dressing, croutons

Warm Pecan pie topped w/Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream

Gallons and gallons of brandy and Irish whiskey....if I got the chair I want to explode when the turn on the juice...the riverman cocktail!

I would want to start out with a plate of good fresh bruschetta(sp?)
And some warm fresh bread with a melted butter and olive oil dip.

Then i would want a sampler type plate.

5 deep fried butterfly prawns with a cocktail sauce to dip in.
half a grilled cheese, bacon and tomato sandwich.
Two deshelled crab legs with more melted butter.
Quarter steak and onions quesadilla with salsa and sourcream dip.

For dessert i would want the following:

half a slice of the best tiramisu
A small bowl of warm flan.
2 chocolate covered strawberries
4 chocolate covered orange slices
and to finish it off one mixing bowl size of capt crunch!!

and hopefully that will kill me before they do! Lol

As an aside, my wife and I celebrate Christmas Day with the extended family. Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve Day is just for us. We've decided to do a brunch this year. I recently saw some great looking Cioppino on some food show, and was thinking of doing that. But, decided to keep it straight forward. I pretty much do all the cooking in the household, and just ask her what she wants. She's going for eggs benedict. I might add crab. I'm gonna also make some killer French toast. Probably a baked version. Thick-sliced pepper bacon, iron skillet red potatoes w/pearl onions, fresh fruits, maybe some pastry. Following that, some festive movies and great sex. We'll open gifts that evening. If I were to choose my last day, this would be it!

Not real clear where you got inbreeding from my post? My wife and I celebrate Christmas Eve alone. Christmas Day is a whole other thing. Eat around the table, open some gifts, sip some whiskey and brandies...that sort of thing.
