Not real clear where you got inbreeding from my post?
I edited it so that it falsely implied that. Do I need to draw a diagram?

I think you’ve spent too much time indulging in weevil ridden hardtack and rancid salt pork washed down with watery grog……I edited it so that it falsely implied that. Do I need to draw a diagram?

Got a 3 bedroom penthouse in Waikiki to stay for a month in the summer if we want to go back. Love Hawaii but their Vietnamese food there's terrible. Don't think the wife would last that long without being able to cook her own Viet dishes.
Yeah, they do Korean and Japanese food really good. I don't have much experience with Vietnamese out there. I'm personally not a big Pho person, but I like other Vietnamese food like Bun Cha, spring rolls, etc.
Looking for a great dim sum restaurant in Portland to suggest to my sister.
Yeah, avoid the "pho" restaurant inside the big mall. I won't name the restaurant but it's got a 4-star review (must've been reviewed by fakes or by people with no appreciation of Viet cuisine). Their pho and bun bo hue there are irredeemable. Agree with Korean and Japanese food.
HK Cafe on 82nd.
Those oysters are far far too large. Its delicious. Try a caviar tasting menu at Kaschka some time. Good stuff.

Don't eat no cioppino. As an aside, my wife and I celebrate Christmas Day with the extended family. Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve Day is just for us. We've decided to do a brunch this year. I recently saw some great looking Cioppino on some food show, and was thinking of doing that. But, decided to keep it straight forward. I pretty much do all the cooking in the household, and just ask her what she wants. She's going for eggs benedict. I might add crab. I'm gonna also make some killer French toast. Probably a baked version. Thick-sliced pepper bacon, iron skillet red potatoes w/pearl onions, fresh fruits, maybe some pastry. Following that, some festive movies and great sex. We'll open gifts that evening. If I were to choose my last day, this would be it!
Sometimes? My relative that is Vietnamese loves Pho Oregon but I prefer Pho Van. She says Pho Van is made for the american palate. That's when you know it's a good Asian restaurant.
Pho Hung. So good.Sometimes? My relative that is Vietnamese loves Pho Oregon but I prefer Pho Van. She says Pho Van is made for the american palate.
I always wondered why girls there called me Hung Pho Sho....now I understand.I also prefer Pho Oregon. Thought Pho Ngon (ngon means delicious or yummy lol) was good too but they've since gone out of business. Haven't eaten at Pho Van in quite a while but I'm the type that will stick to what I know is good.
Pho Hung is really Pho Kim now.
Ha! Love it!I also prefer Pho Oregon. Thought Pho Ngon (ngon means delicious or yummy lol) was good too but they've since gone out of business. Haven't eaten at Pho Van in quite a while but I'm the type that will stick to what I know is good.

Been hitting Pho Ken in OC. It's nearly as good and much closer.I also prefer Pho Oregon. Thought Pho Ngon (ngon means delicious or yummy lol) was good too but they've since gone out of business. Haven't eaten at Pho Van in quite a while but I'm the type that will stick to what I know is good.

Or that everything is deep fried! That's when you know it's a good Asian restaurant.

Holy shit, the prices went up significantly. Was like $115 for 3 people after tip. Used to be half that. And this was a cheaper place.
Hit the spot though.
I'll eat some snails but have to pass on weird shit.....not into that kinky stuff.Hit up Oc House on 82nd (where else?) if you're into snails and other weird shit.

I love udon, and my go-to udon place in Honolulu is Marukame Udon. Check it out if you haven't already. Long lines every day, though.

The poke spot just a block ahead is good too.
It's not dim sum if you didn't have chicken feet, btw.
That's how I judge if a dim sum place is good, whether they can do chicken feet right.
