I did this over at the "old" site last year and thought it was real cool. I would love to find out what your name means and where it came from. 2 examples- Myself HCP was my name when I used to DJ back in the day. And DaRizzle was the name given to him by his man lovers in prison. Let's hear it boys!

Please don't move this to OT. It will disappear.

You should be halfhispaniccausinsomepanic.

dpc - dylan patrick church

I love to play chess, and I love to play gambit openings when I play chess.

ABM - AtlantaBlazerMan

Do the math. :)

my dog's name.

he got the name because of a classic scene in the movie "Mean Streets."

My original name was tlong, which stood for "too long" which is what women accuse me of being. I lost my original tlong name in BBF, and thus became tlongII.

Heh, recently, you were accused in here of being a former porn star.

PapaG

Papa - one of the first sports talk hosts I heard was Papa Joe Chevalier when I was loading wine into trucks during college in the early-mid '90s.

G - my first name begins with a G.

I've had an ESPN account with this moniker for over ten years, possibly more, but that is as far back as they are giving me credit. I posted on ESPN for years, begrudgingly made the move to BBF full-time a few years ago, and ended up here last month after Cinco_de_Bozo, with help from a few others, decided that treating some of us like garbage was a solid business model.

My name is a character in a video game I have played with my grandkids for years on 2 different systems and a third one next month. I use Tortimer on many forums and as my first character with any video games I have played. I wasn't kidding about my level 70 night elf hunter from WoW is named Tortimer etc. :dunno:

1 Eye Jack- I love playing poker and back when I was kid always made 1 Eye Jacks wild. Now I use it for forums and also one old on line game called MOHAA (Medal of Honor). I'm 38 but refuse to grow up.....

From 2002 through 2005 I was a Blazer Team Attendant, which is basically your typical combination of water boy, towel boy, and locker room slave. And check it out... TB stands both for my name AND Trail Blazers! Coincidence....?

It's been my tag for online gaming about 6 years. I switched to that because I thought it was funny that people were actually using it as an insult.

My name comes from a cocktail napkin with the top 5 worst super hero names on it

Named after the loyal, brave and honorable (and deadly) Reepicheep from Narnia:

Contrary to what HCP will have you believe I did not get my SN from a male lovers in prison. My middle name is Razzak. A few years ago I had this cute coworker who asked what my middle name was and so she started calling me DaRizzle. When first signing up to bbf I didnt think it would really matter since I didnt plan on really joining any forum, since I never had before. Im sure everyone when they first see it thinks Im trying to be some hip hop wannabe white dude which is the furthest thing from the truth.

I sort of dont like it anymore but I thought it would suck for others if I changed my name...i know i dont like when people do that

...and yes, I hooked up with her

Where did my name come from?

I'll give you 3 guesses you miserable punk kids! And get the hell off my lawn!:oldman::grouch:

Was it weird hooking up with a guy you worked with?

"Shooter" was the drunk, ex-basketball player portrayed by Dennis Hopper in "Hoosiers," the greatest basketball movie ever made. Hopper was nominated for an Oscar for his performance.

Here are two of Shooter's best lines in the film:

"Cletus, my good friend. friend of years, friend of tears. you’re looking fit and fiddle. clet-you tell ‘im. sectionals of ‘33, down by one. five, four, three, two, one, let ‘er fly…..(cough) in ‘n out. Say, you wouldn’t happen to have any spare change. the misses and i have had a partin’ of the ways."

"I know everything there is to know about the greatest game ever invented."
