His career is over, even if he ever comes back, and that's a big if, it wont take long till he is injured again, his body is just not made for this level.

Totally agree. You don’t just need re-do surgery multiple times in the same rehab stints. That’s not normal at all.. he’s done

Well, now I'm not sure we even offer him the QO. What a disaster of a pick. None of this is his fault but christ....

I just think we should never draft bigs again. Acquire them in trades or free agency, but never draft them.

You got a great point. In the last 20 years the only two bigs who stayed healthy and were worth a damn were Z-bo and Aldridge.

When you think of the time, effort and money we squandered on Oden, Leonard and Collins it's so damned sad. Especially when you think we could've had Durant, Donovan Mitchell and Khris Middleton instead.

The guy is the Straw man from Wizard of Oz. He has body parts that won't endure a full season. He should be given his money and the team be detached from him. Perhaps he could buy a sports re-hab company to supplement his income. He seems to have had plenty of experience.

Best case scenario is he’s like Zydrunas Ilgauskas—lots of foot injuries earlier in his career, then his body hardens up and the second half of his career he’s able to be healthy.

but worrisome that he keeps fracturing the same foot.

Sad day for Zach I'm sure.
I hope he can get through this and maybe someday get back on the court.
Best of luck to him.

If he keeps fracture the same foot tills me there not fixing it right or there not rehabbing it right.

I'm sad reading these comments. Zach has not been shown to be fragile, injury prone or made of glass. He's unlucky. He has a severe injury at an especially difficult location that could end his otherwise promising career. Such a bummer.

I know everyone is saying it’s over; but humor me: let’s say we sign him to a minimum deal. When would he be back assuming no hiccups? After all, it is only the end of June. That gives him 4 months before the regular season tips off.

Which will give him just enough time to need another surgery.

I' want to know the timeline of recovery from this one (humor me) before I'd consider giving him a contract. Something just ain't right, be it him rehabbing too soon, a genetic issue or bum doctorin'.

Just look at it this way. His shoulder should be healed by then.
