This hurts. We need as much length as we can get against the Lakers

Whenever that is.Hopefully he’s healthy for training camp.
Part of being a good athlete is being durable. You have to take the bumps and bruises and fatigue and recover quickly. In hindsight, Collins may not have played enough at Gonzaga to really demonstrate whether he had that quality.![]()
Grant Hill
Damn, Collins is a quitter! Better get out the notebook!
huh?
Hill was a 4 year starter at Duke IIRC
ok....maybe you're saying Hill spent the first 10 years in college and the NBA being really healthy, then fell apart?
Your posts are insufferable. The worst part is our idiot GM will probably give him big contract. He is useless. And made out of glass. Get rid of him
But are they wrong?Your posts are insufferable.
That would be huge, we definitely should be able to get someone in here. Unfortunately, if we do bring someone in I think the quarantine process won't allow them in games soon enough to help us with the Lakers. If we advance though that would be great. Can we replace him since he's got a season ending injury? Can we bring Ariza back now?
Neil better be on the phone right now to bring Ariza to the bubbleThat would be huge, we definitely should be able to get someone in here. So you're saying Hill wasn't injury prone and didn't have any major issues with injuries during his career?
Yes.But are they wrong?
i think perhaps seeing the market for free agent traditional big men should ultimately dictate. If you can re-sign Zach for $8mill per year for 4 years I think you have to go for it.
where did I say that?
I really don't see how Hill, who was extremely durable for his 4 year college career and first 6 years in the NBA, but started to have injury issues at 28 is a good comp for 22 year old Zach. Hill broke down after about 600 games and 10 seasons. Zach might be breaking down after 200 games and a little over 2 seasons

I have read 6 - 8 weeks.anybody know what recovery time is required for this surgery?
Good question. Can we replace him since he's got a season ending injury? Can we bring Ariza back now?
In a heartbeat. If you can re-sign Zach for $8mill per year for 4 years I think you have to go for it.
See, I think this is just something that is unfortunate. I know Zach hasn't been durable up to this point but I don't know if any of his injuries are symptomatic of him having an injury plagued career. Don't get me wrong, I'm not super attached to him but I don't think this thing with his ankle decreases his long term value to the team in any significant way.I have read 6 - 8 weeks.
