I don't get it either. If they want to keep Leonard, why do they even need Zaza? To be our 3rd string center? Why not let Leonard go and sign a real center?

He still has $8M of cap space to use first. In theory, we're close to being able to re-sign Hendo, too.

I'm not sure he can find a starting C for the remaining cap space, and clearly Neil doesn't think Ezeli is good enough to warrant cutting one of the RFAs.

He's too in love with Meyers Leonard because he drafted him. But I'm glad he is keeping Harkless at least. He should just resign his guys and call it quits. I can't believe that he'll spend anything substantial on Zaza.
