Zbo: "I'm better than Chris Bosh,"

I agree with ZBo. Did you see his key block at the end of the Knicks/Clips game? He also hit the FTs to send it to OT. Go ZBo!!

Steve Nash and Sabastian Telfair have 4 fewer blocks on the season then ZBo. Hinrich has more.

No matter how hard you try and polish it, a turd is still a turd.

For a fantasy basketball team, I say Z-Bo and Bosh are close. For an actual basketball team, Bosh wins in a landslide.

I admit that I am not very impartial when it comes to Z-Bo since he is my 5th most hated Blazer ever.

I got a real chuckle out of posting on a New York Knicks message board about how much they would end up hating that dick then watching them slowly realize what a looser he is. Priceless!

How much better are the Knicks since the trade again?

Last time I checked, a .394 winning percentage (Knicks this year) is better than a .280 winning percentage (last year). Yeah, there were other additions and subtractions, but not having Zach is a large part of that.

If you want to play devil's advocate, you could say the Knicks were 6-5 at the beginning of the year with him, although they only played 3 teams of quality and he shot only 43%.

It's pretty obvious to me, even without the numbers that the Knicks are a lot better team without him.

Um... that's not "devil's advocate". That's the primary point: winning games.

Have you watched the Knicks recently? They're terrible.

Actually I think it was more due to actually having a coach (D'antoni) and a point guard (which they never had for the past few years)

Bosh is definitely the better player. Bosh's scoring efficiency and passing advantages are largely negated by Randolph's rebounding prowess, though not entirely. The main point is that Bosh is a much larger asset on defense than Randolph, which is a huge portion of the game.

The difference, though, is almost certainly overstated by the "Randolph is a cancer and stat-stuffer" crowd.

If Zach stayed in NYC this season, under D'Antoni, he would've made the All Star team and the Knicks would probably be going to the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed. They were playing great with him at the beginning of the season. And the Clippers have played pretty well when Zach is in the lineup. If the Clippers are healthy next season, they will win half their games.

I'll be the first to point out Bosh's weaknesses (lack of variety in offensive game, poor defensive fundamentals), but they're ones that could very easily be rectified. You have to take into account that Bosh is still a pretty young player and he's yet to play under even a half-decent NBA coach. This isn't a debate.

If anything, Randolph's comments reminds us of how terrible this year has been for Bosh. His teammates have provided him with very little support and the team's been a disappointment, he's slumped since the team went into disarray after the coaching transition, he was insulted by Shaq after a journalist took his comments out of context, he's facing a paternity suit from his ex-girlfriend, and now Zach friggin' Randolph thinks he's better than him.

I'm shocked there are so many in this thread picking Zbo over Bosh.

When you factor in defense it's not even close. There's a reason Bosh is a near first-rounder in fantasy drafts...and ZBo rates out in the 50's every year.

Ed, you addressed everything but the huge discrepancy in winning percentage. That's pretty much kills your argument.
