I think Javale McGee is a more likely and more realistic option at center. He might not be as good as Hibbert, but you won't have to throw the max at him. Denver is a bit strapped on their cap situation.
Yes, because Utah got a big euro and a combo guard, while Denver got a rebounder in the late first round of a weak draft. There's no stopping them now!
Why is everyone so cranky pants about tonight's draft? Up until just yesterday we were in desperate need of our point guard of the future, this was the worst draft of all time, Miller was our most valuable chip and Rudy was considered filler to make any deal work.
After tonight, however...
Sounds like they're trying to have some fun with you is all. I would tell you to lighten up, but living in LA I'd imagine you're pretty sick of it by now.
This preseason concern sort of reminds me of the tea baggers: getting all worked up over nothing. Remember when health care was about death panels and state funded abortions? Remeber when Roy went 1-6 in a preseason game?
I get the feeling Monday's meeting will more of a "let's all get on the same page" meeting. Either the Hornets are going to tell Paul he's not going any where and to shut up and take it. Or they'll try to work with him on a trade, maybe asking him to hold out until the trade deadline, adding...
Reading Wojo's article he made it sound like LeBron wanted Chris Paul out of New Orleans? Did I read that right? Why would he care if Paul plays in New Orleans or Portland or Dallas or Orlando or New York? LINK
It's been said that the loser in any negotiation is the one who speaks first. With that in mind, do the Blazers wait for the Hornets to contact them first (knowing they probably will anyway if Monday's meeting doesn't go their way)? Or do the Blazers reach out first, trying to gain an advantage...
Couldn't the Blazers just let Rudy play in Europe and still maintain his rights, like the Hawks were able to do with Josh Childress? Between his play last season and the bullshit he's pulling now he's not going to bring back much value in return. Maybe if he shines in Europe again for the next...
