I once thought that role should have been played by Rod Taylor but he's probably dead of old age by now.
The only non White I'd love to see in that role is Idris Elba.
The only White? No idea. Perhaps Jason Statham, except Statham can't act for shit and Elba can.

Im not sure how I feel. I didn't mind that the Doctor Who was being played by a woman, just the writing was shit.

I think it depends on how they introduce her (IF this is true) and the (story line) reasons behind it. If it's just change for changes sake, it's wasted change.

Daniel Craig killed the James Bond franchise for me. I stopped watching them after his second movie.

I won't be able to watch any movies with Lashana Lynch as James Bond. I grew up watching James Bond, as soon she opens her mouth and says "I'm James Bond", I won't be able to make my head believe it. James Bond is a male role.
