First, that isn't going to happen. GS would beat us if we were full strength. They are just a better team than us (this year).

But if that does happen? You better believe that Olshey wanted it to happen (no matter how much you and I would disagree that it is a good idea).

I don't understand, how are we even close to losing the pick to charlotte? #13 is like 4 games ahead of us

Only chance for it to happen is if 13 or 14 jumped into the top 3 (won the lottery) which pushes us back a pick or two. VERY low low chance.

He means either the 13th or 14th place teams leapfrog into one of the top-3 lottery positions after they do the lottery
 
This would be an absolutely amazing tank job if we do end up with the 10th pick.

I'm assuming you are asking about a 3way tie. They just put the 3 teams' name into a box and do a random draw

Alright the official "there is only 9 decent picks in this draft" talk can begin.
 
I suppose this is slightly better for our draft lotto chances (4% chance of getting top 3 instead of 2.9% or 2.5%-- woop dee fucking doo). But man, what a shitty finish. No wins in the last month+, franchise record for losses in a row, and possibly some of the worst basketball and pathetic talent I've ever seen from a pro team. Can't handle this shit for one more season (we lost seven in a row to finish last year)-- we better be in the playoffs next year.

I'm thinking of going to the draft this year. Want to boo the shit out of Stern.
