Cousins signed for 4 yrs 60M.
I wonder if he'll ever play in a playoff game as a King.
I still think LMA will take less than the max, anyhow, so long as he gets $100m over the 5 years.
I'd take Dirk Nowitski, Anthony Davis, Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, and Serge Ibaka over LA. Tim Duncan is better too but is so old.
I agree. If anyone will take less its LMA. He's just that humble, and if he's smart he'll realize it's what it takes to win.
Best.
PF.
Today.
Anthony Davis and Kevin Love might have something to say about that.
who has been injury prone, who has never been in the playoffs.
Aldridge certainly can't be put in those two categories. have to play to be the best.
If LA could play Terrance Jones and Asik every playoff series, he would be MVP. He struggles against physical PFs and drifts from the block. He's not worth anything near a max deal in this era of the luxury tax.

Durant is struggling against the Spurs. He's not worth a max deal, either.
Nowitski is the PF LaMarcus wishes he could be in his dreams. Someone who makes a living from the outside. But Nowitski's eFG% is 10% higher, which is a huge gap. Dirk is still better than LMA. And there is no comparison between Anthony Davis and LA on the defensive end. And I'll take 21 points on 52% shooting over 23 points on 46% shooting.
LA is a volume shooter and an average defender. The only thing remarkable about him is that he's really good at getting his shot off. He gets hot sometimes, but it's a low percentage shot in the long run.
MVP's get max deals. I forget, when did LA win the MVP?
Didn't Amare Staudamire get a max deal?

Knicks officials said Monday they intend to sign Stoudemire to a contract later this week, after the free-agent moratorium period ends. Stoudemire's agent, Happy Walters, said the deal is for the maximum allowed, which would be an estimated $99.7 million over five years.
Yeah, and then he immediately turned into a shit sandwich. Do you think the Knicks are still happy with that deal?

Probabally not. But the Suns let him walk because they knew his knee's were shot. But i'm not going to look for that article.
James Harden?
Dwight Howard?
Steve Francis?
Russel Westbrook?
they all signed max deals didn't they?
Yup, to go along with their max egos.
Oops, that didn't turn out right, lol.

I see a few players on there who are paid max and haven't won MVP.
Terry Stotts needs to STOP trying to use LaMarcus like he's Dirk Nowitski.
I'm sure that was discussed prior to Stotts getting his contract extension.
"Hey Terry, you need to use LMA this other way. Other than that, thanks for the 54 wins and playoffs series win!"
