2.3 million to use when we traded Bayless

Everybody has forgotten that the Blazers have 2.3 million to lure/sign a player without giving up a player from the Bayless trade. This was mentioned on the sportspage show earlier today (95.5).

Everybody has forgotten that the Blazers have 2.9 million to lure/sign a player without giving up a player from the Bayless trade. This was mentioned on the sportspage show earlier today (95.5).

There are so many TPE's out there that this isn't much of an asset. I believe we do have until October to use it though.

Everybody is such a nice blanket term. I would have to gueses you are wrong on this, because when it doesn't get used in time and expires, there will be an uproar of people who are very aware of it, I am sure.

No. It's only good for trade purposes. Joel could be signed using the veteran's minimum exception. Charlotte would have to buy him out and waive him first, of course.
