I didn't realize that Williams lists out at 6'8" 250--that's Lebron-esque.

Will Jimmer now be a member of the Jazz? I thought they'd go with Knight here.

Work the phones, Vulcans! Two decent PGs are available, and Cleveland may want Miller for a year to tutor Irving.

Hmm... lots of big guys in Utah.

Kanter came up in a CLE I went to a couple of weeks ago... a UW compliance officer talked about him a little bit (UW was recruiting him).

It'll be interesting to see how he fits in.

I think if Jimmer's there at 12, he's gonna be a member of the Jazz for sure.

Re: Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving #1

LOL--Kanter wants to be in the WWE? Doesn't seem like a Utah type personality.

The Jazz draftroom reminds me of the Heavan's Gate cult. White shirts and black shoes. I think I even saw someone laying down in the corner with a black blanket over their torso.

Here goes Wheeler for the third straight draft -- breaking in to tell the audience absolutely nothing of substance.

So... Cleveland will go with Jonas Valanciunas. Book it.

Right? :)

Re: Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving #1

Blazers should be ecstatic for the Kanter pick

",Guys, I can hear activity in the war room, and people are talking!! Sounds like something's happening!!"

Haha.

Mike Rice's prediction of Kemba Walker is still possible, too. They know their stuff!!

Tristan Thompson. First reach of the draft...

",Guys, I can hear activity in the war room, and people are talking!! Sounds like something's happening!!"

He's either listening to the war room, or an old broadcast of Orson Welles' War of the Worlds.

Wow--Thompson @ 4? That seems like a reach.

There's the first surprise!!

Who did CLE draft him for?

Re: Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving #1

Oh snap! Cleveland shakes things up!

Re: Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving #1

Wasd that pick for a certain team on the west coast?

Woah. Thompson! That's ... interesting.

A tribute to quantitative analysis? No vote of confidence for Hickson, that's for sure...

Ed O.

Hollinger had Thompson at #3, right?
