Koponen traded for the 57th pick.

LOL at these euro stashes.
 
Oh this just gets better and better... we dealt Koponen to Dallas too for a couple of 2nd rounders.
 
Koponen for #57? I guess next trade will be LMA for a 2019 round 2 pick.

espn_macmahon Donnie Nelson couldn't name names, but he said Mavs gave up picks 26 and 57 for 2 players. (One is Rudy Fernandez. Not sure about other.)
 
I am a fan of Felton, but Miller, Rudy, Koponen for Felton and #57 is a joke
 
This also basically admits failure with Armon last year. Another wasted pick. ROFL
 
This has got to be a joke.

I seriously hope we're trading for a vet or something.

Otherwise, no team is going to take Portland seriously in the draft ever again. It's just karma.
 
So what I'm seeing is basically Miller for Felton and other names involved, none of which will make an impact in this league.

I'm a Miller fan, but Miller and throw ins for Felton is not as bad as this board is making it out to be. I doubt the Blazers are done with their roster for '11-'12.

I know many were hoping the Blazers would greatly improve through the draft . . . but not in this draft and not with the 21st pick.
 
I guess this is what happens when you don't have a real GM
 
Hopefully we got Felton to facilitate a trade for a real PG.

Even if Harris, Rondo or even Paul aren't truly available, I'd rather take Stuckey or Aaron Brooks any day.

Johnson was a 2nd-round pick.

The failure was trading Bayless for a pick.
 
The national media is gonna rip us apart. I see a few draft grades being an F in our future. UGH!

Well, would you rather have Nolan Smith next year, or Jerryd Bayless last year and for the future?

That's what it boils down to at this point. I'd take Bayless 10 times out of 10.
 
Part of this is Cho's fault for not trading Rudy earlier before his value really plummeted
 
Nolan Smith is a damn good defender. But a huge reach!

So is it official we get Jordan Hamilton?

Yes I love a point guard who can't see the floor! he's awesome!! Smith is a way better overall player. BAYLESS IS A SHOW BOATING FRAUD WITH A 0 BBALL IQ
 
Some teams sell their draft pick when they don't really have a player to draft who will help. Blazer used their draft pick in a package for Felton . . . they weren't going to get anyone they could use in this draft and could have tried to sell it. Instead Blazers package it and take on more salary.

I like that move (packaging the draft pick to get a vet) than last year's move of packaging players and picks to move up the draft. I bet this one works out better than last year's move.
