These meds are awesome. Everyone is so much more agreeable with a man that is not so bat shit crazy....Who knew?

Glad it worked out well. I always remembered you as a friendly guy (like now) and then for a while it was like someone else took over your account.

I might be overlooking an obvious one as well.

MKG.

He will demand the best from other players, even if he isn't the best player on the floor. He makes others around him better, too. Just a smart, heady player, and will be better than his stats indicate.

I'm hosting one as well for my dad and a couple of friends. Smoked a turkey in my new smoker this weekend. Cooking a second in the oven Wednesday night. Going to park my ass in front of the TV, crack some bottles of wine, beer, whatever... should be a good time, as long as Portland doesn't 'F' it up.

Sounds lovely. I am thinking about going to the Rockets party because two of my new found family are huge Rockets fans

I didn't overlook him as an alpha dog. For me anyway, even if MKG is successful in the league, which I doubt, he doesn't have that personality. Again, I am wrong all the time though, so who knows?

I think he's one of those laid-back, lead-by-example types. Fiercely competetive. He'll be quiet, but when it's time to light into someone, he will. Jury's out on him for me, but there's something about him that makes it hard for me to write him off.

Might be the case, for sure.

Sam Amico: Another NBA GM drafting after lottery on Jared Sullinger: "It's a big risk. Not sure there'll be much of a reward, either. No thanks." 2 minutes ago

Sam Amico: Ohio State's Jared Sullinger not invited to NBA Draft green room. GM drafting in 20s says "No, probably not," when asked if they'd take him. 4 minutes ago

At the combine:

Waiters 6'4"
Rivers 6'5"

margin of error?

Chad Ford talked about the accuracy of these this morning. Crowder measured a full inch taller at the combine than what he did in New Jersey. Waiters worked out for a few teams (Raptors/Blazers?) in Vegas before the combine and he was measured there a full 6'3" and change without shoes.

Not like it matters all that much.

Two GMs passing on him after the lottery? I wish we had another 20s pick to use on him. He has way too much value to be down that low.

Freshman who dominate in their first year of college: LEARN FROM SULLINGER.

He would have been a top-5, maybe top-3 pick last year.

No he would not have been. The only reason he is slipping is because of his health. They would have seen that last year as well, No?

Olshey said decision to use both picks is reflection of offers received for the picks and how much Blazers value who they can get in draft
